Well...seeing as they've played them both at every gig since 98...I think you are probably going to hear them at this gig...can we assume that you will be meeting up with the faithful???

Looking forward to this show. Doesn't seem like it's being advertised around here (the SF Bay Area). Anyone know how well tickets are selling? As far as I know it's not sold out yet, which surprises me a little.

Haven't seen NO live since 1993 (at LA's Hollywood Bowl) and am excited to see the lads (not quite a bit fatter) play again.

I've seen a show at the Kaiser Auditorium once, if I remember correctly it's got a basketball court feel to it. Lots of room to dance, especially for old geezer NO fans with tender joints.

I'm flying to OAK on 29th at 7am from Dallas. Who else is going from Dallas? My flight is 1-stop, it's cheaper and I'll be in Oakland at around 2pm.

Does anyone know how much it would be to get a taxi from Oakland Airport to the venue?

It won't be too cheap, but probably less than 30 dollars.

On MapQuest it says the venue is 10 minutes away from the airport... 30 $? Hm... it looks like it's cheaper to rent a car then. I wish I had a driver's license...

I thought all people from Texas had their own pickup trucks and cowboy hat?

you don't need a rental. you can take the BART from the oakland airport to the lake merritt station, which is half a mile away from the venue according to google maps (but they take a really roundabout way). i think's it's only a buck or two.

Is anybody meeting up before the gig? I get into SF Thursday night, it would be very cool to hook up with some NOOLers before the show! Pik

Anybody know how the audience arrangement is going to go at this? Is everyone given assigned locations in relation to their tickets or is it First-Come-First serve?

General admission, so first arrived first served until the hooligans push to pass in front of you... :evil4:

Well, I was in quite a hurry for last week to get over with, however, I think the next two weeks of vacation that I use will certainly pass by in a flash as well. Besides, I think my brother and his pal will be attending Coachella on Sunday.

I'll be the dashing gentleman in either a Joy Division shirt with the italcized 'f' Still logo or a Stone Roses Fools' Gold one, hopefully in front seeing as how I live in the Salford of San Francisco, i'm going to try to get there two hours beforehand.

Man, I can't believe this concert is only a week away. I've been so overworked from my job and school so this show, along with Coachella & NYC, can't come soon enough. I can already taste the beer at Coachella.

That's a good point, by the way. I mean apparel. Does anyone know if there's a cloak room in the building for coats, hats, bags and all that?
