Thanks for the tip, it was a life-saver. Had arranged tickets at face value off e-bay, but the seller still hasn't recieved them.

Now we've got cheaper tickets and can stop sweating...

Does anyone know what time the curfew is ? Am pushing for the last train out of Euston.

From the O2 website, you can also order two for one...

God damn, and to think I paid 45 quid (+ mobile phone charges) for it... :banghead:

And it's gonna rain... Better spend the afternoon in the pub, then! :bow2:

The official site has not yet updated its stage times for the sixteen bands on the bill for Friday but, with so many performers over a short period of time, it might be a case of blink and you'll miss them!

It's all scheduled to kick-off music-wise at four o'clock and there's very little breakdown/setup/soundcheck time between bands unless they're planning on using several stages or a Live Aid-style revolving stage.

Therefore, I reckon the earliest time the Order will be on will be 8.45 and then latest 9.30. Does anyone know of any regulations regarding sound levels in the open and the time big events have to be over by? It would have a bearing on things. Cheers.

I'm keeping an eye on the Wireless site so I'll post the confirmed stage times here when they post them there.

I have to say that Wireless site has been crap since it started.
Very little info, no news. Just the main page.

No wonder they are having problems flogging all the tickets!

Most festival sites have sound bites, pictures, reviews and daily updates.

Bobbins!

The Jaxx must be the must see band of the moment, I'm off to my mothers ( St Ives, Cornwall) for the last 2 weeks of August and tried to get tickets to see BJ at the Eden project but already sold out, though i did manage to pick up some for Mr Brown the following night ( Ian , not James)

As this is the only one that is actually their gig (albeit loosely), rather than being a festival that they are playing (yes I know it is technically the Wireless Festival, but it is New Order plus some other bands on Friday), I'm gonna stick my neck out and say they will be on a bit longer and will do some of the promised ones.....

11:00 is usualy the maximum legal time, but most urban festivals like this usualy have to stop at 10:30.

It might be canceled anyway if its lightening.

Bastard........... :banghead: Still, it will always be worth at least £45 to see NO!:bow2:

Not too happy about that, especialy with the f**king weather. I paid £35 for mine.

It could be that New Order are playing gasto the next day so a lot of NO fans are going there instead.

Ah yes, but they will only get the 'pre Coldplay (festival) set', not the full on NO set that we shall get! ;) And by the time NO are on stage at Glasto the bogs will be f*****g minging!!

All of the above would be good, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if they left out Jetstream.....Turn would be nice though (or even Elegia?)!

I've been monitoring the chance of thunder storms like a right John Ketley this week...Upon checking this morning this is the first time this week the rain hasnt been so prominently featured during the afternoon, so maybe there is a glimmer of hope and we won't get a complete wash out.

London Weather for Friday

(If it rains and clears just in time for No I just hope Barney don't use the same rain quips he did at Finsbury...that would be too much like deja vu!)

anyone think moby will come back on stage and play New Dawn Fades with em? has in the past

But but the look of the weather we may get nothing if there is thunder and lightening it may be in danger of being cancelled!
