Shaded it slightly on Brixton as the venue was smaller, or was it cos the place was rammed. No probs getting to the front but. Was surrounded by fellow NOOLers just in front of Hooky, had a damned good slam.:D Was that a microphone in your hat Digi?

Top night all round.

I've taken loads of pictures, but not sure any will be decent. I'll download them tonight, if I've got anything good I'll try and get them on here.

Cheers Jon

:dead: :dead: Oh my bloody head. What a top night. The Order were brilliant, and they played BLT! The whole day was excellent.Me and Banshee were out drinking from quarter to four up till two this morning. And to round the night up,Fab Cafe with the lovely Dawn Acton* DJ-ing!Don't think she was too keen when I said "Tracy love, have you got any New Order?" But she did.She played Temptation and LWTUA. It really made my night to meet you all. AL,thanks for the pin, mate.Hello to Ness,Samantha,Ricardo,Barney Army,Rocket,The Clayhead,Liam,Lucy Jane...and Edd,where the F**K did you disappear to? Hope I didn't make too much of a nuisance of myself,God knows I was like Linda Blair in The Exorcist at the end:sick:Vomit that is,not wild expletives!

(*Dawn Acton played Tracy Barlow in Coronation Street.)

Monty, did you have the 'Movement' t-shirt on? We hugged  on numerous occasions if that was the case. Banshee - sorry I couldn't stay at the Cafe a bit longer but after 2 hours moshing I was shagged. Managed to get back to Liverpool and work this morning on time at least.

Did the Stokies flag turn-up? The Clayhead was gutted to lose it to say the least

Top night as always, I had to bugger off straight after the gig to get back to Sheffield, although i did bump into Martin and Will as i was walking back to Picadilly. And in case you mean where did i go during the gig, i got moshed back a few rows somewhere around True Faith time and didnt have the energy to try and get up front again! Hello to all the familiar faces i saw and spoke to and also to Mark, Shaun and Daniel. Its 2pm now and the next fucking 3 hours cant pass quick enough!!!!

We went out of Fab with Ness,One Brain and a few others, and me and Banshee went for a drink at Revolution on the Locks, before coming back to Fab.Talk about a tour of Manchester! Banshee text me last night to say he tried to get a few drinks back at the hotel, but they wouldn't serve him.Beer monster.

Blimmin 'eck. Wish i'd been on this site first. Got tickets in the circle but tried blagging the steward downstairs but it didn't work.

Second time i've seen New Order and they remain my all time favourite band.

Danced all the way through - beltin!!

Why was Hooky doing the splits? Perhaps he'd pulled a muscle eh?

Mark,

Can't believe I'm doing this. Breaking my lifelong rule never EVER to post on an Internet web forum. Reason being need to establish if this is me old baggy mucker Mark from Sutton and the '89 fields of Reading. I'm reckoning the Villa pic is the swinger. Mate is it you? Sounded like you had a ball at the apollo. Haven't you got kids now you mad dog? Great venue and the band are in tip top form at present as I witnessed at Brixton last week. That was a great gig. Now I'm desperately trying to resist going to Ally Pally. Lot of money but more importantly TERRIBLE venue to hear music. Still scarred from the spoiled roses gig in 89 after being sublime at Blackpool.

Hoping its you mate. All the very best and shall we arrange to have a chat at Charlton home?

If in fact you are the lead singer of a unfeasibly gloomy manchester indie band then clearly I apologise for troubling you.

Forza Villa Ellis Out and ahem Newwwwww Orrrddddddeeeeeeer

PS. Any idea what my nickname refers to???????

Can't put into words how amazing the gig was. I guess everyone had a good time yesterday. Meeting you all before and after the gig was great as well.

Many thanks for the beers. Believe it not, my hangover is not too bad. ;)

I took loads of pictures. Here's one of them. I going to post the rest as soon as I arrive home.

Thanks a lot everyone! :thumb:

Hiya Nige, the username has nothing to do with the NEC '89 par chance? I'm fine mate if aching and tired. Good to hear from you. I'm working in Liverpool at the moment so last night was easy to get to. Met a number of the Vikings before, during and after and had a top night. I'll be there at Charlton assuming your still in the Upper Holte I'll see you by the food area? Mail me if you want to meet in the Aston Social beforehand. Enjoy Ally Pally if you go, Al and others will be there of course. :thumb:

If anyone can piece together Doc's movements between the hours of 7 pm and 11 pm (cos he can't remember a damn thing) please contact PC Plod at Staffordshire Police HQ because we need to find the flag. Or if you saw anything suspicious like a non-Stoke Order member half inching the flag, then please get in touch. PLEASE.

 You had it nicked?! Dear, oh dear, oh dear. That's just made my day, no end! :thumb:

WHO THE FCUK WOULD NICK A STOKE CITY / NEW ORDER FLAG THOUGH!!!

Cracking day/night out. Thought Brixton shaded it, personally, if only cos of the 'surprises' but maybe that's just me.

Way too many hilites but Hooky dedicating Ceremony to Phil Grubb and mentioning Darren as well was a poignant moment for me, personally. What a star that man is.
