As this will be my first meet up with the esteemed members of NOOL I thought I should post a recent photo for you all. I'm to the right, behind, in front of and to the left of Bernard and Peter. I think its known as doughnutting in Parliamentary circles.

Looked like it was bouncing downstairs. Upstairs the sound was poor. lots or speaker buzz and room noise.
Enjoyed it though. Nice to see they were as well rehearsed as usual :D

Oh and I only got in the place as ACR were doing Wild Party so was gutted
Just got home from the Apollo now...what a top gig!! It was my first time seeing NO live, and what an awesome performance it was. Perfect set list, great light show, band enjoying themselevs and on great form, and the fittest bird in the building dancing right in front of me!!
Absolutely top night!!!
got back to my friend's place in salford two hours ago and still am happy for the night.. 
it was the best one i've seen so far!(not many though, just four this year) great venue, great guest band, ( didn't realise it's gonna be a certain ratio! what a surprise!) great atmosphere, i got my first viking pin and the crowd was nicest ever. a night i'll always remember!
and it was really nice meeting Ricardo, Al Jarvis and Hibster!

Another Great gig, even better than Brixton? I was standing at the mixing desk & it definitely sounded better.
Except, what happened during Atmosphere? There was a loud bass drone all the way through it.
Did I see one of you NOOL's (Al J?) ask the woman on the mixing desk what it was? She appeared to shrug her shoulders.
& Phil appeared to be confused by his keyboard for a couple of songs.
Hooky was on fine form, strutting his stuff around the stage. Though I wish he wouldn't stand, legs akimbo, like Status Quo.:D

Apologise for my language....but it was fucking awesome, for my first NO gig, will it be beaten !!! Hooky is one cool guy, got some good pics, if interested will put them on my site later.
I managed to catch Hookys drumstick.....but he told me to give it to the blonde next to me :( , BUT.......he personally threw his plectrum into my hands at the end of the encore, what a guy.
Thing is.....could they get any better than this.....shall I make it my last NO gig ?????
Paid the fiver to watch it on the net but their having problems apparently.... gonna try and save it and burn it to dvd...if anyone else manages to do it....I'd love a copy
ears are buzzin body knackered but a good night shug nice to meet you and your uncle and rocket mick and his brother whos name i cant remember at this moment thought it was a great gig, unfortunately got heavily stung trying to get rid of a couple of tickets
Can I just echo everybody's sentiments, fab gig. Regards to everyone I met in JB's and at the Apollo - Al, Rocket etc. Ed - where the hell did you disappear to?
