Dude, you've got to be on the cusp of eighteen if you're starting college this year, you'll be able to vote in '04 surely (when it's "Bush vs. Whoever-'cause-nobody-fucking-cares-anyway"). Do yourself proud and cast your vote for.......whoever's running on the Commi ticket (there's always a Commie on the ballot!) :D
Bush seems more wishy-washy than Clinton in terms of "right or left", he's for big businesses but also for creating huge government buracracies. He's definitely conservative, but I sense an oppertunistic streak when it comes to "doing more to fight the war on terror", such as pre-emptive strikes and refusing to admit that more soldiers have died in Iraq since Bush's little "flight suit" PR stunt than during the offically declared hostilities.
