Texarkana? Is it in Arkansas or Texas? Can it decide?

So what, has this become a Texas thread, then? Houston is the biggest city, but it is not the best. The Reliant is the best in the world, MM Park has mold on the bloody roof and the new Toyota Center is brilliant. Nevertheless, I have to give it to Corpus Christi. Great place to go sailing by the way. Keeping a boat moared at the T-Head Marina is where it's at. :thumb:

Anyway...

I just heard Blue Monday on NPR (National Public Radio for those not in the USA or those who still think Rush is Right)...what a surprise. Nearly a minute on it's own between news stories.

NPR has it's faults, i'll admit that...but you obviously vote Republican. may you grow up to be rich and oblivious like the rest of your party.

I am too young to vote, but I do sway to the right, but even Bush's administration is becoming too far right for me

We have this radio station here that plays nothing but the 80's and every morning, well, every other morning (esp. Monday mornings ;) ) they play Blue Monday. Thoughout the day, they play BLT or True Faith, sometimes both. Sadly, those three songs are the only ones they play.

Dude, you've got to be on the cusp of eighteen if you're starting college this year, you'll be able to vote in '04 surely (when it's "Bush vs. Whoever-'cause-nobody-fucking-cares-anyway"). Do yourself proud and cast your vote for.......whoever's running on the Commi ticket (there's always a Commie on the ballot!) :D

Bush seems more wishy-washy than Clinton in terms of "right or left", he's for big businesses but also for creating huge government buracracies. He's definitely conservative, but I sense an oppertunistic streak when it comes to "doing more to fight the war on terror", such as pre-emptive strikes and refusing to admit that more soldiers have died in Iraq since Bush's little "flight suit" PR stunt than during the offically declared hostilities. :nonono:

that orgy version of 'Blue Monday' saddens me, just horrible! Short lived alternative metal band Quicksand did a great version of 'How Soon Is Now'
