Good ideas there ( The Music had a good album but I'm not familliar with that producers other work)
Well, Abiss has also worked with Placebo on their last album and with UNKLE and DJ Shadow.

what does the PSB production portfolio look like? i had no idea that they produced anything...
i'd like to see a flood/alan moulder team up. dark guitar and dense, rhythmic sequences.
then again, alan wilder lended a big hand when working with flood when dM was incorporating live drums. and wilder isn't doing much these days except drinking and recording at home for his recoil project anyway. that would be an interesting match.

Andreas Carlsson is the man behing Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys, 5ive and Westlife
Nevertheless, he managed to produce hits for Bon Jovi (It's My Life), Céline Dion (That's The Way It Is) and Def Leppard (the X album)......
So basically, he knows how to make a succesful pop tune...
while reading this thread i actually thought of Steve Albini I mean you want a raw sound? he will get it the other name I was thinking would be Nick Launey or for real fun Mark E Smith

They actually produced several things, mainly only one track per artist, although I think they produced entire albums for Liza Minelli and Dusty Springfield in the late 80s.
Can't remember anything else from their work specifically, but their famous remix of the Blur song "Boys and Girls".
I think they know how to produce good stuff, although I also think that they sound better when someone else is taking care of that business for them (like on the Nightlife album, where Rollo and Craig Armstrong split the job remarkably).
i clearly remember the blur remix but other than that, i figured that since there are more people credited with sequece programming on their recent albums than there are songs, that they'd washed their hands of the technical stuff... though, don't get me wrong, i still love 'em.
