I think i deserve extra credit for making an appearance at that particular time of year

God is beer cheap in England...
It's not that expensive for a pint damn it, usually you pay 3-4$ for a domestic beer in any club.. (yeah, the small size), a pint might be 8-10$ easily...
Though pint is not really used here, we go straight to the pitcher

Just to get this thread back to the original topic, I don't really think New Order will play: after all, Johnny Giles has said it won't happen, and I don't see Al Jarvis cancelling his holiday yet, so.......Unless we get an official announcement or Jon Scott makes an appearance and says it's happening (which is basically the same thing in my eyes) it's probably a NO show. You live in hope that something "spontaneous" might happen, though.....
BTW: maybe it wasn't £2.90 a pint, but it certainly FELT like it!!!!
my guess is that the only thing that may happen would be that someone joins ACR on stage (if we're lucky)
Well that conceiavbly could happen. When ACR played Band on the Wall, they covered Heart and Soul soul so maybe one of them could get up and play with that...

Hooch reared it's ugly head about 94. There was a whole 15 minutes granted to this on the I LOVE 90's programmes.
Alcopops have always been minging - but they were cheap, hence the attraction to youngsters, a trend which continues today. I could never understand grown men drinking bacardi breezer and VK (although I have done it masel....when Under The Influence)
Cannae drink Alcopops these days because of the fookin heartburn the next day
Just keep the Pints of Stella or Carling Extra Cold coming ma way and I'm happy.
Personally I think there's more chance of the album coming out this year than NO playing this gig. Shame.
The big drink when I first started getting served in pubs was "White Lightening" cider: it was vile, but at 8% vol. it kept my 16 year old self pretty happy!!!

well if the order do play , i think we will actually get to see NEW ORDER. IE: barns,hooks,steve n gill,(as long as the latter can get a baby sitter). as they was so close to gretton i cant see tham not doing something,so as for anyone else involved with new order playing live recently i think that may be a moot point coz if anyone was going to play it would be HOPEFULLY the original lineup.;)
