The net triggered the obsessivness, practising communicating and socialising through a computer screen, a bit absurd though :-) Suppose it's surreal, comparing it to the real outside world. When i spotted neworder-sites, i began contemplating taking up my old, but isolated interest; collecting records. Haven't been a obssesive record collector for years, but N.O. have always been no.1 for me since the days around 78.
- Around sixty, but then to be correct I have to set my record collection in alphabetical order and count it all over again.
- & 3. Mostly Lp's(All, apart from Get ready which is a CD-purchase) and 12 inches + 4 of the first 7 inches. Think it is the "Run 2" (12 inch) or the "An ideal for living or perhaps "Komakino"? Or one the 16 versions of "Round & round" (don't know) Not a anti-bootleg. 4 Not at this moment 5 If I were to look for some, I'll might try Action Record, London. No, the interest has not entirely flown away. (By the way, I haven't seen them since the 22th of May 82)

Well, I think I have a nice collection, but it's off course not as complete as some I saw here. I have vinyls, but I tried to sell them a few years back, the only I was able to sell was Run 2...
So I'm keeping it to CD, if I have something rare? If I have, I have no idea of this.. of course I got promo copies of Get Ready and Crystal, but well, that's not "rare".. My guess would be the "Touched by the Hand of God" CD I have.. I've NEVER seen that any other time.
Of course I don't live in the UK, so maybe it's something you bump in frequently.. as for bootlegs.. being the one who did the New Order Anthologies, I managed to get myself a pretty complete collection in mp3..
So actually, I care much more about having the music than the media on which it is!
I dont have anything really rare at all. I have all the albums, mostly on three different formats, vinyl, tape and CD (bought a different stages of my youth!) and lost of the singles on vinyl. My main problem, was when i bought most of the stuff i was a pretty young(im 26 now) and could only afford the bog standard versions of things from my local Woolworths.
Did purchase other versions of things later on in life, but a bastard man stole most of them....arent ex-boyfs the scourge of the earth?
