the look is dead on. we're all depressed because we all wanted to be bernard sumner at some point in our lives, not capt. kirk.
I actually thought this last year, Bernard is bill shatner, scary!! It ain't gonna get any better!

And I thought Bernard was well into his running, keep fit and yachting...more like pie eating at the footie!
Ah I think he looks alright. Still looking pretty cool really. Age isn't nice though is it. I'm sure if he lost some weight he could look more like he used to but none the less the guys getting older and u do change, 40+ u totally change. It's quite remarkaable when you look at a nice pic of bernard in the 80s and then look at that picture though. Totally different person almost.
And Hooky looks like some cop from a 70s TV series or something... Phil will always look as the lucky young fan... the only cool looking member left is Steve, who's younger anyway, I think he's still 46 years old? Let's see him in a couple of years... Anyway I have some mates at work who are in their mid forties and still look way older than Barney and Hooky, they are still alright.

Have any of you actually thought about it though. Bernard looks so different now to how he used to be, very very very different indeed. Looks so different it's scary.
His face is a lot broader than it used to be. That happens with age. Hookey's as well but it happened a lot earlier with him.
Wow, that picture shows he hasn't aged too gracefully. Maybe he needs the Simon LeBon makeover.

Actually he is beginning to look a lot like me, except I have black hair, and still am a bit thinner than him. :D

I can't find a decent picture to compare it with but I think Hooky, quite apart from his "scary grandad" persona is looking rather like Keith Baron in the latest batch of photos.
Isn't it about time he had that hair cropped?!
It all goes to show what a talented individual Bernard really is. Not content with his seamless replacement of Richard Whiteley on Countdown, even down to the annoying bow ties and the vocal inflections, or his standing in for David Caruso on CSI Miami, he is now able to present an authentic alternative to William Shatner. You can't say it doesn't really matter......
Look guys, I don't think Barney looks so awful now - apart on the scaring photograph where he's pissed (who's the good friend who's leaked it ???)
You should take all the advantages of the age into account : he's far better at ease on stage, he gets in touch with the audience more often than before and he sings about lake, trees and the human race...
