I presume they will be playing both V festivals on alternate nights?
How far apart are they?
this is good news ![]()
Oasis to headline? ![]()
I must ask, did Oasis had any succes in the UK since Be Here Now? Because seriously, the last song I heard from them is D'you know what I mean, after that it was radio silence for them over here.
Crystal had a better impact!

Nic, Oarses are absolutely MASSIVE in the UK. They're already playing various 'stadia' sized gigs of their own this summer. You probably couldn't get a bigger British band.
BTW, on the official V Festival site, they say tickets are not on sale.. but google returned this site...
Al, sorry I didn't know, I was just asking... seems to me Coldplay or Radiohead are biggers act right now on our side of the pond... but Oasis hit it big with Morning Glory, but became invisible after that... Wonderwall is still in my top 20 fav tracks of all time though :D
Funny though, as Oasis did support for New Order a few years ago ;)

*When did it happen? Anyway it's true the rest of the world doesn't care anymore about Oasis, their crap retro joke isn't funny anymore, except for the British who keep on shitting on the world more and more crap revival bands, and still get away with it (when once they were at the front of the innovation, what a shame...). At least V has also the only really funny retro band, The Darkness, they're dead kitsch, but at least they don't take it seriously at all, the joke is funny AND rocks at the same time! Not many hopes to be there this time unfortunately, but you never know...

No, he's not. Following in Julio's illustrious footsteps, he's only gone and put his back out trying to give himself a BJ to celebrate the gig news!
Great news about the V2005 folks. Seriously I only live 3 miles away anyone who wants to stop over let me know. Be so good to meet some of you guys.
Also if you want any info about trains, bus etc and where to stay please e mail me.
Its so exciting to think that I could sit in my back garden and hear New Order play live!
