*Oh yeah, forgot about that (especially because I was thinking of New Order...), read it a looong time ago... Those were the very early days of Oasis, one year before they forced Alan McGee of Creation to hear them. I don't know if Noel Gallagher was already in the band. Apparently Liam was desperate because Oasis were shit and asked the help of the older brother, who already had some experience in music, having been a DJ at the heighth of Madchester, then (I think) a member of a rock-dance band who sounded like Jesus Jones, and then a roadie of the Inspiral Carpets. Noel accepted to enter the band but only with absolute powers, forgot his musical past and pretended he hadn't lived in Manchester 1989, but Liverpool 1965, and that's how Oasis inexplicably became famous, after McGee himself forgot that Creation wasn't a revival label but in fact was at the front of innovation with the best shoegazers like Slowdive and Swervedriver, he just turned back the clock of 30 years... The only problem is they still were, are and always will be shit!
