I read Jude Law is a Joy Division/New Order fan and Barney stated that Murder was Matt Dillons favorite song. Any others :confused2:

And we all know Bernards charity work and 3rd world fund

On "the culture show" there was an interview with the director of Closer, who said he took the name from his favourite album.

The Red Hot Chilli Peppers & Smashing pumpkins obviously.

And Tony Wilson!

The footballer was Irelands number two goalie, Dean Keily. Named Technique as his favourite album, in general.

Jeremy Vine (ex-Newsnight) - he was also at their Jules Holland performance (as was John Simms - who played Barney in 24 Hour Party People)

In terms of musicians, too many to name... :)

Pat Nevin, Joy Division fan.

As I mentioned before, Pat Nevin negotiated a clause in his contract with Chelsea that he could leave the following week's friendly against Brentford at half time to catch New Order at the Festival Hall. He also acted as chauffeur and hairbrush supplier for Hooky in Glasgow last September!

Read about some woman that participates in RAAM (Race Across America--bicycle race 8 days the record) listened to New Order to keep her going. These racers do not get off their bikes for the first 48 hours, sleep maybe 2 hours a night and live on a liquid diet. Very, very grueling event.

The Killers!? If it weren't for New Order and their Crystal video, we wouldn't have these guys. I think they should just cover Crystal already and pay ultimate tribute that way.
