Me personally, I think the G&D 911 mixes of SLY were the only good remixes from the whole Get Ready stage...maybeone of the crystal remixes was ok but really guys...have some manners.

I've got these all on vinyl and ported over to my 'puter as a certain file format....

Trust me...they sound fooking great!!!

Davey Dresdon...keep em coming buddy!

I wasn't around the board at the time of this discussion, but I'm quite surprised that Dave got slammed here. Bad people. :nono:

If you follow the top-40 club music, you should be aware that Dave is pretty influential... Plus he has made some stellar remixes (see some other thread for examples).

I don't think he'll be coming back...

It's a shame too...you're right there /TLV, he has had quite a few good remixes. I think it was you who gave me the link to some info about some of his other remixes...

...NOOLers, shame on you for doing this bashing on someone who does have more talent than many other remixers out there who get more widely played...esp when it comes to NO and their record comany's choice of terrible remixes!!!

Absolutely agree. The Someone mixes were some of the better ones on offer yet were parcelled away as a DJ 2 pack. Criminal.. I thought one of the versions might have appeared on Retro but there you go.

I like those remixes quite a lot. As said many times before, probably the best ones grom Get Ready songs. Kind of a interesting to see that that Dresden guy visited here to tell his feelings.. and getting so pissed of a small thing. The Someone Like You 2x12" is a very nice package in all ways.

Generally I don't have anything againts those kind of remix single versions.
