Yes, and sausage meat is by far the best material for U-boats.

49 yr old gay man here....been a NewOrder-obsessive since I bought BlueMonday (when it was new) cause the store clerk recommended it. Never thought about the band being gay, but was ALWAYS appreciative of the dj's in gay clubs embracing them AND Depeche Mode, because of the intelligence of the music...actually something to sink your teeth into amongst the diva disco and piano house...that is why NO had and has a HUGE gay following.

who cares about what kind of sex these men have?

one question though.....how bout BS and Johnny?

IM KIDDING

now that we've grown up together....

Welcome aboard John. One guy that'll be particularly happy to make your acquaintance is Rocket Mick, and no, not because he's packing a rocket, but because he always cops the heat for being the elder statesman of the forum!

The gay-est NO images I can recall were a series of off-stage photos from one of their US tours, mid-80s. Barney in particular, he sported a very Trade blonde haircut, was quite tanned and seemed to relish getting photographed shirtless.

Hookys attire in his JD days must come a close second then

Yes sir Mr. Roberts, but don't forget, 'sausage' can be constructed with soya protein.

Does it taste just like the real thing?

I read a article in some magazine a while ago when Barney was ribbing someone , Neil tennant I think, for being gay. But they do have a bit of a strange sense of humour so you never know.

Bez's book also describes Barney as always having a troupe of female groupies following him around backstage, so I'd suggest that claims he bats for both sides are probably wide of the mark.

How did I know that you would be the first to respond, DC?

I'm only sorry I didn't see your post before you edited it.

Agreed, but applying a more "tube meat" meaning to this thread's subject matter really enhances...

Okay, I'm done.

You're a bit slow on the draw today, LE.

It was so blue it would've made Old Blue look yellow.

It really is impossible to try to work at the same time.

Somehow I guessed that too. I know that you can always be counted on to rise to the occasion when certain subjects come up, DC.

You need to get your priorities straight, LE.

A Limp Bizkit board this is not.

This really is some stiff competition.

If only DC didn't keep editing his posts to take out the better stuff, this might get really interesting.

Too bad the initiator of this particular motif has disappeared.

I think he has a genuine concern for all the 14-year-old Killers fans lurking around.

Wood-y prefer a milder pace, perhaps?

The only gay connotation is/was from the fact that no matter what, the gay scene always embraces the best music before the majority of the straight scene does. Gay clubs have the best music.

I've spun for gay ppl and they love when a DJ and the music is edgy.

I believe NO was edgy when they first started with the dance tracks. Blue Monday proved that

If it wasn't for the gay scene most of the good music would never get played until it was like 2 yrs later.

And I thought your ... um ... analyzing of Barney in WIM set the stage for some good point/counterpoint discussion.

Well, that's what you get from a "LE"... :\ohwell:
