Didn't appreciate the electric shock treatment - thought old monkey was trying to pole dance
Felt distinctly underdressed in my NO t-shirt - didn't realise it was a shirt and tie do.

A Big Thank You!!! to everyone who came to the Spread Eagle last night. I hope it was a good night, both bands were excellent, and I appreciate their patience concerning electric shocks and scandalous parking restrictions around Shoreditch. A big Ta to everyone involved, Digital, Re:Order, Martin, Frank, Kat and all you punters! xx
yes, the p.a. was 'shocking' wasn't it! fortunately I was able to earth myself by using the stripper's pole that was situated onstage... [as if the image of Al in just pink shirt, pink sunglasses and pink knee-high socks wasn't enough] "Apologies to Re Order for leaving early but thanks again for the use of your backline. Your first couple of numbers sounded blindin" cheers jim, and right back atcha. do you include the 6 minute gap after IALP as one of the blindin' numbers. appreciate it, we've been trying to work that into the set for a long while. I was rather taken by Ian's Skullcrusher bassline during that gap - thought you were gonna launch into it full pelt! I have got a sizeable burn on my bottom lip this morning, gotta stop this electric shock therapy before it gets too late!

It's no problem I just don't know that many New Order songs at the moment. So you were the Digital bassist who took up half the stage imitating Hooky with a lowbass?

I wasn't wearing an earring. I was at the back whilst Digital played wearing my coat and red Joy Division shirt [big Unknown Pleasures logo and Joy Division in big text above it]. I moved closer to the front for Re: Order, stood near the bar.

Did anyone take any photos of either set? I've got some of our set, but would be interested in seeing any more that may exist. I'm guessing nobody taped it!
Yeah ive got some but i couldnt work out how to attach them. Will have a go when im back from holiday in 2 weeks.

Yes, it was Jane, they video all the gigs, but whether they ever let anyone see it is another thing. Occasionally you find a few snippets on their site http://www.thieveslikeus.co.uk/gigsheader.html
