Well, Michael, your persistence and devotion on this issue is quite staggering. So let it be said that I am perfectly happy to join forces with you and form a defiant gang of two who shall hereby shamelessly and systemmatically declare their undying hatred, loathing and contempt for this vile non-tune that is "Jetstream"....just to rile all the other blind purists here who have crumbling cauliflowers for brains and mouldy mushroom-cups for ears in their inability to tell a great New Order tune from a stale, duff, risible and mediocre one.....

i don't care for it. as i wrote in the WIM vs. jetstream thread, it sounds like a mentos advert to me. still, i'll take it over rock the shack anyday.

In the spirit of "Jetsream" [sic], I believe it's a tasteful misspelling of "Colony" to denote Mr. Brown's dislike for a Joy Division perennial.

i would really want to know why do you say Jetstream is a bad song. Cos all i hear is "is shite, it sucks, etc" I respect all opinions, and truly, i want to know what is that you hate about the song (musically, not the lyrics). Is the catchy chorus? the melodie? the rhythm? what is that you hate?

I like it. It's very good live.

But seriously, Every time I try to give the long winded version of my opinion on J-E-T and its tardy plan, someone pulls the plug and it does'nt post.Unless ofcourse I am mistaken and there is a time limit.I am not a fast,fast typer you see

i've been a jetstream hater ever since i first heard it,but suddenly today after buying the cd and messing about with the u-myx all afternoon i think its ace! well my mix of it is anyway,can't wait to get my hands on my new order i pod

I haven't heard the re-mixes but it's certainly the worst song on the album. They should release "Guilt..." as a 12" to dj's and get it into clubs for the summer then when momentum builds on that they should push WFTC or Turn to radio.

Uh. Not New Order. At all. This is a fun enough song to listen too, but the lyrics are scary, and the chorus is awful. But it starts out good, and the actual tune is nice. Still, this is in no way up to New Order's standards.
