And please, really, no 90s reunions. Worst decade in music history (Grunge! BritShit! CaliPunk! MetalPunk! MetalRap!), though this is a close second... at least the 90s had a good start with shoegazing, baggy and what was still left of acid house... some good alternative techno too... these Zeros are so, well, just void as the number... the Zero decade indeed, we're just getting some pretty revival of the 80s, but that's all... There are some good underground bands. Check the debut album from Tsuji Giri (featuring former Gabrielles Wish drummer Phil Considine) for a masterpiece of furious sonic genius, but bands like that are just well hidden in that underground...

If Johnny Marr had replaced Gillian that would have been the end of New Order (well I think so!!) Phil was a brilliant choice and for the time being remains to stay!!! I think he has progressed from being a fan to a member of the band really well!!

In the past Phil has worked with Johnny Marr & he also was involved somehow with Electronic as he made a few tv appearances in uk with them late 96 early 97 (memory abit hazy but he did!!)

Leave of Phil as he as earned his stripes by now!

Gillian ~ New Order's missing ingredient

Marr ~ listen to Electronic: clearly Marr would have been an amazing addition to New Order as a lead guitarist and back up key boarder. Clearly, Marr's demonstrated unwillingness to tour and/or play live is a major barrie to him joing up with New Order. A feud between Hooky and Marr? never heard of it - probably only a rumor.

Chris ~ he's done a great job so far, however, clearly he can't measure up to Marr. But, does Phil's unassuming personality mesh better with Bernard and Hooky better than an established musician would? (Marr, for example.)

I think phil did some of his best work directing those bjork and aphex twin videos.
