I meant the threads that are trying to back up the idea of two NO camps. It's exactly what always made me bored: a very adolescent attitude, to say the least.
Agreed. Someone's trying to take the higher ground on everything here at the moment and isn't doing much more just stirring up ill feeling.
It was me who mailed Nic last night to ask that the thread be closed.
Glad he did, but shame on those who voted! 
Oh, and the latest pin badge from the Vikings has some pink in it. It's very gay-friendly (and, nope, I ain't making this up!).

We're coming from different areas… so we've got different points of vue, but I don't think we're so much "divided".

Fcuk's sake, you try to be civil to people! Why should the Vikings thing 'peeve' a few people?! A bunch of mates follow New Order around the world. Roadcrew jokingly call them the Stalkers, then Roger Lyons calls them the Vikings in an article in a music magazine. The name sticks. Whether I be socialising with Old Monkey or Mickey Way and JG, Ness or DigiMike, Inta-D, Biginoil, Shug Zico Voeller, Hibster, Wolfram, Nick King, ATR or whomever why should anyone be peeved because we're (laughingly) labelled the Vikings, the Stalkers, the Rocksteady Crew or the New fcuking Squids on the Dock. We're still gonna be at gigs and we're still gonna knock about with each other (whether at New Order gigs, or away from them). It really shouldn't be a problem for anyone else. So, for someone to laughingly allude that we're somehow (snigger) less educated than them (the Alumni, if you please) or not genuine fans (the Spotters again, if you please) and are actually homo-phobic simply because we like meeting up at gigs, then that's just fcuking pitiful. If you're peeved with that Adam, then it's your problem, but please do not try and make it mine.

That joke would be funny but its the oldest joke and the most predictable joke. In retrospect,for the aformentioned reasons, its not much of a joke. Call me Pc or what you want but this is what i believe. If tolerance is P.C., then i'm guilty of being P.C.

Is that the problem ,that some uptight so-and-so does'nt like anybody going to gigs and avein it?
