Lets just chill for a bit.............. yes.............

Ok.

It would be a fantastic thing if they reformed for wilson gig because............ tony wilson adored them. Totally adored them. Despite the money grumbles / shite financing/ hac down the tube etc/ tony absoluely loved them and always will.

So if they did play together in his honour, there definately would be a little peep over the glasses on the edge of his nose and a broad grin from heaven....

Who cares what they play!

We are fans and if the got up and played teenage kicks theough their butt holes we would all still love them...... just like Tony.

Tony was their boss but he was also their number 1 fan (although gretton was probably a close 2nd with johnny giles in at number 3, pop pickers...........)

If they get back together for Tony for one gig it would be great. It would finish off the legacy of JD & NO and I would be very content, let alone poor old Tony. (He was smashing by the way. A really lovely bloke when I met him in Glasgow. (And for the record...... I never called him a twat)

........ and I'm back in the room.

the whole JD / NO thing needs some closure. This final one off gig would provide an opportunity to do so. I suggest that they play all their singles (A sides only) in order of release. The 1st encore could feature the better album tracks in reverse chronological order. The 2nd encore could be a 20 minute jam/medley of the B sides with a guest appearance by Gillian.

I would love to open the champagne but I still don't see a good reason for that. :\ohwell:

 Closure for who? the fans?

I'm not the biggest fan but even I know JD had it's closure:crazy:

And as for the concept of a fan needing 'closure' on a band ... that's far too Americanised warm fuzzy and physcobabbleish :nonono:

I'd be delighted if they played all of Closure as long as they play all Unknown Pleasers as well.
