I was amazed at Shaun Ryder thats the most clear he has ever spoke. As he been on 10 years younger with those nice new capped teeth, he only looks 50 now. What was with the posh voive he was doing? Going to see the Mondays in Notts on Thursday so I'll see if he still looks the same, if he can sing I'll know they;ve got an actor in. Shoudl be a good laugh though. Yeah OMD only did the one single, but a good one thogh and I forgot about Caberet Voltaire. Long live the factory revivial!!

Does this count as posting more?

To clarify Simon, you need to reach 100 posts before you can access the weeding forum. This is basically a forum which the kind souls on here share gigs, tv performances etc with each other. The forum is called Thieves Like Us.

Thanks John - now how hard was that Mr Disco 99? Manners maketh the man. As much as I enjoy this site there is an element that has a "we've been here longer so not telling" or "tut, tut, did you not know we've done that thread before" attitude.

It's repeated tonight twice on BBC4 again. Really enough time for anyone in the UK to get to see it. Freeview boxes are about a tenner at Tesco apparently.

I enjoyed it. As posted above, nothing new was revealed or suggested, but it was a class 90 minutes of music television, and I bet a newcomer would have found it very informative.

One minor gripe. Why did they keep saying "Duritti Column" as though they were mixing Vini Reilly up with Green Gartside?

The 'pineapple bloke' was John Robb. Here's a weblink about him, cheers!:thumb:

Have only just managed to watch it yesterday 'cos of being on hols',thought it was great personally,a really good job & did the story justice, altho' I obviously would've liked it to be more in depth, but at an hour & a half anyway,it did the job very well.Would've liked more on Ratio too,but hope there's more on the DVD( ! ).Whatever! What I did notice is that Anthony H. swears even more than fookin' Hooky does! Even the naughty 'c' word.Tut tut.  :thumb:
