I'd like to comment on the tangental issue of Barney fucking up songs. He is absolutely the WEAKEST LINK. That nonsense about him not whooping and whistling during the same parts of the same songs is absolute RUBBISH (english slang for bullshit or nonsense). Do you have more than one bootleg from the 2001/2002 gigs? I can assure as will El Jarvo that Barney "embellishes" these glorious songs with his grating whistles and whoops in the same part of every song......Touched....Whooop....by the hand of god. I guarantee every time you hear this song it will go down like that. I wish he would just sing the songs with the proper emotions...He ruins Atmosphere...totally ruins Atmosphere. If these old farts are so sick of playing the same set PLAY SOMETHING ELSE. How hard is it? And that SHITE (english for shit) about having to reprogram Perfect Kiss is a non-issue from my perspective. If they are Musicians then they can play music by definition. They wrote PK therefore they should be able to press the FUCKING keys to make the melody right? At least they could hire a trained seal to press the right keys. Put coloured (USA citizens read: colored) stickers on the keys and let Allen play the damn thing. It's absolutely ridiculous that our favorite band is alread the VEGAS act they were slowly becoming when I saw them last year. Same set, same whoops, same disappointments. Play some new songs or I will be forced to stop illegally trading your bootlegged shows!

I couldn't care less if Barney whoops during a song. Barney isn't Ian Curitis so if he whoops during Atmosphere, so be it. Thats just his take on it. Even if he doesn't whoop, its not going to have the same feel as Joy Division playing it 20+ years ago anyway.

After all, they wrote the songs ... They can do what they like with them ... We're fortunate enough that the band are still releasing new material, touring and providing everyone on this forum something to talk about so Im not going to complain if they play the same set each night. Bloody lucky they're playing at all.
