New Order reissues - official tracklisting

PS I bought all the original 12's at the time from my local record shop in macclesfield in the 1980's so I'm not being flippant.

What the heck - if you turn off the tweeters then you can listen to these remasters, that's ok with me. Nae looking forward to the new remasters when they come!

I really wish they would have included Substance in the remasters; such a perfect collection deserves to be given a new lease on life.

I keep checking different sites for the correct cover art for the 5 remasters, but keep on getting conflicting images. Some have the original "Brotherhood" with the "Collector's Edition" slipcase over the top; others have the new Brotherhood cover with the slipcase on top, some have no slipcases, and so on.

Can someone who actually owns all 5 collector's editions scan the 5 covers (slipcase still on) and post them here, so I have the definitive versions of what they should look like? It will make all this organizing a lot easier for me. Cheers.

What should have been an exercise in painstakingly assessing and packaging up all the loose ends has turned out to be fucking dogs breakfast.

Wait, so is "Substance" out of print? I know it isn't being remastered/reissued, but seeing as most of the tracks are on the album reissues, is it even new in shops anymore?

Just to let you know, 5 8 6 on the US version is not missing the bass notes.

When Peter Hook was interviewed on BBC radio 2 by Stuart MacConie,just prior to the release of these reissues. He was really enthusiastic about them and said he'd closely inoled with the track selection etc, even said he was 'proud of them'.

Since then, now that many errors have been discovered, in subsuquent interviews he's tried to distance himself and the band from them and claiming it was largely left to the record company, funny that.

I'm with Mr Brennan on this. It ain't just the sound quality that's at fault, it's the trax themselves! Nothing for me.

Surely Hooky/Steve heard the finished products before they were released.

Funny enough on the aforementioned Radio 2 program they played 'Vanishing point' from Technique which skipped badly in the middle. I should have been warned that was probally an omen

It also ain't just the sound quality and the track selection that's a fault ... it's also the sloppy (at one time changed) artwork that could have been so much better with proper tracklistings etc.

I always got the impression the band has very little to do with the rehashes, the exception being the Glasgow DVD compilation. Just my impression, mind...

The US packaging is great on all of the releases! I looked all over it and everything looks like it should, in my opinion. Each have subtle differences from the cds, and I particularly like the gatefolds on Low-life. Rhino has apparently taken care of the mislabeling. The only reason I write this now and not months ago is because I just got the remaining discs for Christmas. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays New Order fans!

Hello, the Rhino web site lists July 28, 2009 as the release date for 2-CD collector's editions of the 5 albums. Is it safe to say these are the corrected versions? I have seen no press release or other news about his. Lowlife 2-CD collector's edition

Now HMV list the five albums on vinyl -180 g- with the release date 27/7-09.
