Thanks again! I've always wondered why the sound of Run2 was always crappy / tinny compared to other releases. Did it ever get an official CD release as a promo or otherwise? I guess not.

did you really just use the word "awesomeness"???
On another note, I just had a listen to the 12" version of Round & Round...I hadn't heard it in years...it was...erm...what's better than awesome???
I nominate Jeb for el presidente...and his motley crew...

No CD at all. 20,000 12" copies, 500 7" promo copies, a handful of promo cassettes, and that was it.

Fantastic! It is almost too much to get several fantastic releases from you in a row. But I'm not complaining :)
Again congratulations on a job well done, Fifty! And now it's time for WIM, my 8 year-old son's favorite!
You've treated us to quite a week £50 - lovin' the Technique singles in my iTunes the covers look great - amazing work ![]()
So we're nearing the end of Part 1 of Recycle aren't we apart from the below:
"Once the remaining ten singles are done there'll be some more surprises to wrap up New Order's Factory years. Remember that rarities box set you wished Retro was going to be? Yeah".
Did I remember you saying you will be producing artwork for a box to store all the CD slipcases in or am I dreaming this? ![]()
Thanks again

I have to be careful what I say here, because even though the material is largely out of print, I'm still posting free music.
After phase one of Recycle there will be a series of all the Joy Division singles done in the exact same way - with full artwork and do-it-yourself sleeves - all of which will include bonus tracks. There's going to be some surprises in there.
I have the design for a package to hold the Recycle singles in mind, but want to play around with it some before I share it. The actual box is a pre-fab that's readily available, but there are print materials to go along with it.
The expanded listening discs for each album will run about an hour in length, and will tie up all the loose ends (compilation and soundtrack appearances, demos, live material, etc). Again, there are some fantastic surprises in there - things that have never been available before. Each of those discs will have artwork as well.
It's going to take several month to post it all, and beyond that we've considered doing all of New Order's post-Factory singles, all of the Electronic/Revenge/Other Two singles released on Factory, and live material either in the form of a box or individual discs...but again, it's only in the planning stages at this point.
Let me put it this way: I'll be doing it for myself regardless, but whether or not those things are shared publicly is a diferent matter.

From a completist's point of view only, ta very much! ;)
"We'll be taking a break for a few weeks, returning after the holidays to tackle 9 Joy Division singles"
So is "A Factory Sample" going to contain all the tracks off that record, or just the Joy Division ones?

Just the Joy Division ones, plus several bonus tracks.
i put all the singles (in order) into a playlist on itunes and ive been staring at the covers for the past 20 minutes, list view, tile view, flippy cover view. my fav is the list view (cuz you ca. stretch out the covers).

This project really is something; kudos to everyone involved. ![]()
I wish you could remaster Ceremony soundcheck live in Birminghan 1980 from an audience tape I have. You can hear Ian's lyrics so clear.
You made it, thnaks to both of you!
Once again, awesome work in every aspect of it: top sound quality and brilliant art work!!
BTW I couldn't get all 'WIM' art work... I couldn't extract it using Izark, thought you might want to know that there might be a problem (I downloaded the file twice to get the same result).
Many many thanks again ![]()

Yeah, same problem for me.
Thanks again for everything btw!
Fantastic work fifty (& bruno). It really is a pleasure having these transferred at such quality.
I do hope the label follow take up your work & release it properly.
MediaFIre seems to hiccup every now and then. Just wait a few hours and try again. It's been dowloaded ~500 times with no reported issues.
