(Including a t-shirt that won't fit me)!
Was that the Refractured Box? I remember being PISSED because not only was the t-shirt XXL and didn't say Joy Division anywhere on it, but all the songs had gaps in them. I put that abomination up on eBay the same day it arrived in the mail, haha.
it ruins ur day if u leave ur I-pod (with all its NO/JD & Electronic songs on it)at home & u can't listen to ur NO tunes whenever u want.
-you dream about being at a NO gig -you get angry when somebody else says that the best band of the world is another one -you thing the party was bad cause the dj didn’t play any NO song, even if you met the hottest chick ever -you always have a NO cd in your car audio -you too often wear t-shirts and badges -you love to collect bootlegs -you get to the pub and the first thing you do is ask for a NO song instead of your fave beer -your girlfriend is fed up with NO -every time you listen to a NO live song , you can say the venue, city and the date of that gig -you don’t care wasting money getting No stuff -early morning you check nool -NO is the band with more plays in your last.fm profile -your tattoo has something to do with New Order -in your dj session you play at least 3 NO songs -you hope your wife will be a NO fan

When you get so excited at a club event when the DJ plays NO/JD related stuff (more so when the DJ is famous...in my case, it wasn't Hooky though).
When you can think of books/films or whatever that you think would match certain NO songs.

Andy Rourke from The Smiths is always popping up in my city DJing, though it still remains a mystery whether or not he actually lives here. In any case, the few times I've seen him he's mixed in New Order and Joy Division into his sets.

In my case, Mani was the one who dropped those tunes..

-You consider buying the 2009 Rhino New Order remaster 5-pack from The Ideal Copy solely for the promotional poster of the band circa Low-Life they throw in.
-You personally request Bizarre Love Triangle at a dance party only to wind up the lone person on the floor dancing to it.
-You're the only person who recognises Blue Monday/The Beach at said dance party when the DJ uses it as the base for a mix set and then are upset the song wasn't played in its entirety.
-You look at half a dozen modern "electro" or "dance-rock" bands your friends introduce you too and scoff they stole their style from New Order.
-Your first thought upon hearing NIN is going on hiatus is to hope that Trent Reznor now has time to do a full-on collaboration with Gillian and Steve.
-You walk into your roommate's electronics workshop and comment that the random piece of scrap metal he's working on looks like it could have been a model for Brotherhood-era Saville artwork.
-When you see 'New Order' on an invoice or receipt, and you wonder if there a Factory catalog number nearby.

And likewise anytime you see the words "new order" written in philosophy texts, no matter the context, you immediately think of the band.
Bonus points if you use New Order as a case study in an analytical paper...
When you're going to write the lyrics to a NO song on an old shirt.
When a perfect walk includes listening to NO.

That's what I do.Back in the 80's,I used a walkman. One time I nearly got hit by a bus because I was lost in thought listening to TPK. Now,I use my Ipod. Really though, no one else can touch them. I still don't have a car. Who needs a car when you've got 2 feet & New Order? Still, I envy people driving by & they're blasting True Faith outta their cars...
er... 51 happens to a number that has followed me since the days of the hacienda, and so..
my poster now in 2 pieces of the divine moment new order at the hacienda (avatar)should be framed before it disintegrates.
my 2 mobile numbers (english and italian) feature 51 predominantly
my french boule engraved as fac51, well I wouldn't have Ball engraved on them would I?
son has left for university and was given a reprint hacienda fac51 poster for his room.
just remembered his first babygrow was a fact 1 home written job.
oh dear.
You smile whenever you make copies at work because "Face Up" is printed on the document feed...
You spend about 2000 yen (a little over 20 US dollars) for an imported music magazine just for an article/question thing about Bernard Sumner.
You are penpals with a fellow New Order fan, although you like Bernard yet she likes Hooky.

Do you and Margaret get along well Eimi? ![]()
...when you have the Vikings catalogue number tatooed on your body

Yeah, we get along fine and we respect each other. I think it would be a worse case scenario if the fans couldn't get along.
Chris Nash wrote: Sorry, that was a comedy guess. No offence meant to either you or Margaret!
Yeah, I know.
:D
When you are going to get a pic of NO on your birthday cake.
When you buy stencils to write The Hacienda on an old shirt.
