You know you're a New Order fan when...

When you get pissed off when the majority of covers of "Atmosphere" you see erroneously say "naked to see" rather than "aching to see". Looking at you, Trent Reznor.
Fucking hell! Look at that cake!
...When you cut-up the Low Life t-shirt you worn to death and put Steve's face on the back of your denim jacket (like I did). Actually only one person ever recognised him!
...Hearing NO and JD lyrics going around in your head from the moment you wake up to the moment you hit the hay.
...Leaving instructions in your will that Atmosphere is to be played at your funeral.
...Buying all the records and then graduating onto buying bits of musical kit that either feature NO/JD sounds or were actually owned by someone who is/was a member.
...Using it most days and wondering what songs the former owner used it on.
...Ending a particularly enjoyable live gig by playing Blue Monday which set the dancefloor alight and resulted in people shouting out "New Ordah! New Ordah!" and even "I want some Joy Division next!".
...Working on synth parts and invariably playing the strings from Love Will Tear Us Apart or Atmosphere at some point instead of writing something!
....Incorporating NO string parts into other people's songs.
When you jogging with your ipod and Turn my way starts to play. Then you repeat when it ends. Six times.

I really want to see this when you get it!! Hope it doesn't turn out a cake wreck, though a badly done NO cake would be a cake wreck for the ages.

It's going to be very simple. Just a picture of the group.

When you smile when there was a section for BL's NCAT and a description of the band, not to mention, some New Order CDs below them at a CD shop.

Ok, I overdid that one a little. But I do watch NO vids a couple times a week. :)

Sweet! I'll be sure to check it out. Reminds me of the time my friend had a Depeche Mode cake for her 15th birthday (and dressed up as Martin Gore for Halloween with a fake man's chest & bondage gear). Ah, good, innocent fun.

when you notice that they used the 88 version of Blue Monday in the 'Synth Britannia' documentary. Instead of the original which is the one that they were referring to.

if you want to buy from the states there's a few on at the moment.
Last one needs repairing, but according to cambo, all you need is a multimeter, soldering iron and maplin catalog, I think he doesn't realise we aren't all clever bastards like him though!
You get excited when you accidentally come across the movie,"24 Hour Party People," as you're scanning the channels on your remote control...no matter how many times you have seen it before.:)
Not buying BL's album or a ticket for their Heaven gig because you still believe in....NEW ORDER!!
Even though you are Canadian, you watch "Coronation Street," because its set in the north of England and it reminds you of them. I even make my tea before I watch it.
