Log onto NOOL early in the morning just to post some obscure spotting reference about NO.

You are watching a film from the 60s you've never seen before and release that some lines from the movie were used by New Order in the closing bars of one of their singles....

This happened to me the other night - name the single and the film, folks!

  • You think you're addicted to NO because the one and only cd you got of NO is still playing on repeat every day

  • the only clothes you love to wear were all black after you've discovered lots of information about Joy Division and New Order on the internet

  • you are willing to collect as much as NO/JD stuff a.s.a.p, and know you can't afford it at the moment

You willingly watch the Jetstream video, just to appreciate Barneys nifty haircut.

You wasted a check on Bad Lieutenant US tour tickets as soon as they were announced.

You actually use the album sleeves as backgrounds for everything.

You prowl youtube for every dodgy performance you can find.

You get excited seeing Krafty as a song that comes with XBOX 360's.

You forced your ex fiancee to like the Krafty video.

You list Tony Wilson as one of your inspirations everywhere.

You have a deep set hatred of Paul Morley.

When you wish someone would clone Stephen's brain and re-implant it into Hooky's head so they could get on with shit and release another album.

But then they'd have two drummers and no bassist, that would be like some 70's glam rock band!

Well... just the diplomatic aspect of Stephen's brain!

You have a deep set hatred of Paul Morley.

_ I second that notion!

when you see the word "NO" you think of New Order rather than the opposite of yes.

You end up compiling useless mixtapes for friends, hoping they'll see the deeper meaning of "Regret". You also go to great lengths to buy all the republic singles, scan their covers, and use them as wall art.

...you request "World In Motion" during World Cup season.

...you turn up the radio because said station actually played your request!!

...you sing along to that song whenever England has a World Cup match.

...you envision your ideal man to be Barney [or Hooky... or in my case, Steve!].

...you're the only one at work that plays JD/NO at work, thus introducing ALL of your coworkers to the excellent music.

...you actually know enough about the color code from Power, Corruption and Lies!!

...you actually USE said color code!!

[extra credit to those who can decode either the avatar OR the signature!!]
