There was a thing in the 80's called a Headache which New Order were supposedly fond of - Pernod with, I believe, Asti Spumante.

One time, me and and a mate couldn't find either ingredient so instead sank a bottle of whisky mixed with pomagne. To this day, 15+ years on, the smell of whisky still makes me reach. Haven't been able to touch the stuff since.

Headbangers, a double Pernod, then Asti Spumante, topped up with orange juice. Fookin' gorgeous (the first couple anyway !) A certain Barney used to drink it by the pint. They all did in fact ! Hooky's a fine wine man now.

Hooky used to drink Holsten Pils by the bottle (or 2 poured into a pint glass).

Steve & Gillian were partial to a few glasses of wine, and Barney, as we all know...

Mine is a cocktail called a 'TMF' - Total Mind Fuck

Ingredients:

1 Drambuie 1 Grand Marnier 2 Vodka 1 Creme De Banane 1 Grenadine 1 Cherry Brandy Top to Pint with either champagne/asti/lemonade, depending on how much cash you have.

Serve with ice. Tastes (and looks) like alcoholic Tizer!

Last time I had 6 of them.... .... A mate and I invented them in a pub in Nottingham called 'Grand Central' we didn't like their cocktails, so made up one of our own.

I know I said Vanilla Coke earlier, but tonight it seems like straight rum is taking the top spot. Tomorrow it will be Vanilla Cole again...

Flaming dr. pepper's is my bag. Take a glass of beer and a shot of amaretto and kahlua with 151 rum on top. light the shot on fire and dump in the beer to put out flame and chug quick. it tastes great, kinda like dr. pepper and does the job!

the strangest drink i ever had was a sniff and cry. take two brandy snifters and a shot of sambuca. light the sambuca and pour from one snifter to the other. keep the empty snifter above the one you poured into. right after the flame goes out turn the empty one right side up and snort the evaporated alcohol then drink the shot.

i think i just like drinks where you have to work to get the desired results.:)

it sounds like you are either a thrill seeker or a dare-devil...would you like my ex-wife's phone number?

Lately, I read Barney had moved onto the white wine (which he appeared to be drinking on Jools Holland) and the Hooky / Steve appeared to be on Becks.

I'm a bit of a Guinness man myself followed by Jack Daniels and coke once I'm bagged up..

flaming sambuca's..although during a recent holiday to Vegas I asked for 2 sambuca's in Caesars palace, and they put about 3 shots in a bloody conyak(don't know how to spell it) glass with coffee beans for 'good luck' I then proceeded to lose $100 in the casino

also Rum, Vodka, turbo shandy, bulmers shandy

Jeff, absolutely, I like to live life on the edge, though I fall off more often than I like. I also like the rip the tag off of mattresses that says "do not remove under penalty of law" (though truth be told those tags do state only before sale). I jaywalk and don't always signal when making a turn. Don't fuck wit' me!! If the ex is willing to relocate to Ohia(sic), hook a brotha up. I'd be honored to take your discarded goods :) I hope that the current relationship is going well. You can't go wrong with a lady named Siobhan. It's one of my favorite names.

And to keep on topic, i would love to do a sniff and cry with our favorite Manchesterians.
