It was the 70s... bad mustaches and crappy tight pants were cool to uncool kids. I wonder if there is a pic with Steve having a mustache like Hooky and Barney?
I asked Hooky about wether he was going to wear the black armband when he went to see the Sex Pistols in Manchester before the show in 2007, to which he gamely laughed and said he had "lost" it.. in a bin, I imagine!
I know the relationship between Barney and Hooky at school was always that of owner and pet but I am not sure at what stage Hooky decided to slip the leash.
