I haven't lost interest completely, maybe a little...just lost a bit of patience. [hi]

Interests lost Eimi,Hellbent doesnt exactly leave me choking for more and as the post above says, talk of a new album lets look forward to that (hopefully) rather than an album of 'leftovers' [hi]

I admit that I'm more looking forward to anything new they may make sometime later.

New album = tour = more quality piss ups with the (un)usual suspects

That is hopeful news, though it looks like their both UK sites, so who knows when it would get released in the US. Hopefully it will be available electronically.

bloody hell, didn't know MTV was still interested in music. Thought they knocked that on the head years ago

Sounds like a confident statement from MTV. Wonder if the legal stuff is sorted... Maybe we'll see something on the 'news' page soon.

Any confirmation from the band would be welcome. If true, it should be all over Newordernow.net.

I've been keeping an eye on Recordstore for a few months now. They seem to change the release date every two weeks! I do hope there's finally some truth in this. Did Barney say it should be out by the end of year? Getting close now.

If this turns out to be another false alarm I'm gonna feel a bit silly for posting this link. But in the mean time lets pour some more parafin on the rumour er mill-fire thingy. Anyone remember this tweet? Mr Lancaster posts on here occasionally.

The band's drummer was unaware of a release agreement as recently as last Tuesday, "Don't hold your breath, I'd be very surprised if this has been cleared for release."

What is holding up New Order ‘Lost Sirens’ album re-release?

The record company decided with the others blessing who I’ve not seen for years, to put the Lost Sirens out without doing a license, and I was like where’s the licence? They want to put Lost Sirens out and they want to do a box set of the New Order singles at the same time. But I’ve still not seen the agreement so it’s not me holding it up, it’s the record company. It’s sad really it’s the lack of communication between us lot, that’s the problem they won’t talk and they won’t meet so it has to be really. When you’ve been together since you were 11 everyone just goes can’t you sort it out? But the others will not meet or negotiate.

A singles box set eh? Time for Warners to consider an approach to 50 Pound Note for those FLAC's of his Recycle project?..

I don't think there's any need for a singles box set (or even an LP with the exact same songs as Lost Sirens with the CD etc)...I just wish they could release it someday and get over it.
