A box set 'Recycle' was touted back in '98 and there were even official T-shirts at the gigs, but ultimately (according to Tony Wilson) 'it just didn't make financial sense'. Instead we got that Retro set that included World and not Thieves Like Us, work that one out. I'm just glad this fucking thing's coming out, that way we can slag it off and then forget about it. 6 songs as good as Jetstream! I'll buy it of course because I'm a tart. People see me walking down the street and say 'That guy is a prime contender!' Sometimes they forget to say 'ender' at the end. Incidentally, anything on those full-length Control instrumentals? A year ago Hooky was playing with the idea of a Sirens - Cuntrol compilation.

At least now we can listen to the songs, instead of constantly talking about it. (Ironically, the artwork is more artistic than WFTSC itself...)
This collection of music has been a source of severe tension between both Hooky and New Order. From what Ive read the dispute has been centered around the distribution of royalties. I dont want to take sides so can someone stick it on a torrent site for me once they have it?
First of all after a WHOLE year of all of this hoopla of going back and forth, this cd better have some good songs on it and they should release a single of the lost sirens with some remixes, all I know is that it better be worth all of this wait. Hellbent could have been made into some really good remixes if they tried. Mark Knight would have done an amazing job with it.
The release date for this title has recently changed. As soon as we have official notification of an accurate release date we will update this page. It is still available to pre-order in the meantime. Apologies for any confusion this may have caused.

Thats the same message I get. 😕 I don't see it on itunes either. I don't buy cds anymore since they started to take over the spare room - unless of course something is not available other than on cd.
It says the release date is November 6, 2012!!
Now Amazon says January 22, 2013 :(
Seriously, it's rediculous that the release date keeps getting pushed back. These songs better be good or I'm really going to be pissed off. We will probably get a new New Order album before Lost Sirens gets released.

You do realize that the date isn't being pushed back, don't you? There isn't a release date, and Amazon is trying to keep anyone who pre-ordered from canceling their order altogether.
As has been stated many times already, until there's an official announcement from the band via their website, you can ignore any release dates posted by Amazon.

Am I the only one here who couldn't care less if this gets a release or not? Sirens was uneven at best and these are the tracks that didn't make the cut for that. If these were the Low-life out-takes, that would be different.

it's kind of like missing your favourite football team's match the night before, they won 1-0 but all the reports say it was a really crap game won with a really crap, scrappy goal. But you still want to see the goal.

I am super excited for the Lost Sirens release, I loved Hellbent very much and can't wait to listen to the other songs on the allbum.

I am very interested in anything they record in the next year or so. It just seems like this is the C/D list material, unless I'm misunderstanding something.
