:nonono: I'm holding a copy of the plot in my beak as I type. It says Rock The Shack is shittier than a shitty stick. Remember, be careful not to pick up the wrong end of a shitty stick.

Liar is much better than Rock the Shack...much, much better. All Day Long is a gem in neworders catalogue and i know who cast the solitary vote!

We All Stand always sounded like they were trying to conjure up the ghost of Joy Division, something they should have moved on from after Movement.

Fine Time is the weakest song on Technique, yet it's a brilliant club track. Perhaps it would have been a non-album single had they more material at the time.

Guilty Partner has excellent lyrics, and Hooky was obviously proud of the music because he revisited a very similar sound with the 1st Monaco single What Do You Want From Me?

All Day Long on a worst of list?! That song is amazing. Miami bass line, classical strings and a country and western guitar solo all coming together underneath some of Bernards weightiest lyrics. You people are sick!

My vote would be for the crappy album version of The Perfect Kiss. The whole explanation for the song has been excised.

Glad to see Republic gets as slagged off as it deserves! Basically ALL a load of lame, dull, cheesy s**t except Regret, World and Everyone Everywhere! I agree all the "John Robie period" stuff sucks too but, come on, lay off Fine Time and World in Motion! They were songs for their era when N.O were the coolest and hippest thing going and England had a good football team worth singing for! :)
