Has any one seen Joy Division?

53/1 and counting.....

Dave Molly's on 140+, Stash is in the 70s, Jarvo's in the 60s I think. JS is probably nearing three figures.

Only 2 for me, and if I was still living in Cape Town it would have been zero. That's what you get for spending your life in the colonies.

Hey Julio, now that Ronnie Biggs has come home to jail, who is now Brazil's most famous person?

Not someone playing football in England. No one is famous here doing this...;)

Only once.. I am a fan since 1990, and they only managed to tour ONCE in our part of the world... Toronto 1993.

Damn it, why didn't they come to the east coast in 2001-2002?

Just once!! I know, very poor, but my excuse is that I'm only 22.

And my excuse for only seeing them once on the Get Ready tour is that I was still at university at the time. I promise to do better next tour.

A paltry three gigs in ten years and two of them were only five minutes down the road. I am a lazy man.

Funny thing is that at Reading 98 I was at the second or third row and I am pretty sure that most people around me were future Nooliners.

By the way: who did the proper thing to do and walk away ignoring Garbage?

I was there with Iain and Bunny, and my mates H, Steve and Snaz who a lot of people here know from gigs, plus assorted girlfriends, and indeed, we all fuct off in town and attempted to drink the hotel bar dry straight after New Order finished. Gary and Gordie similarly shot off to a mates and I believe Mad Darren went looking 'for girls and drugs'. Not sure which he found?

Tim,

did you already mention, in an earlier thread, which JD gig you attended? Sure would love to hear about your impressions...

1 time = Mountain View (S.F.), Shoreline Ampitheater 1993

The sad thing is that my wife has seen them more times than I have and she doesn't even like them.

I now live in the Eastern U.S. if only they would play within 500 miles of where I live I would travel to see them again in a heartbeat!
