Wish I was there...

and yes you probably can pay on the door.

I do hope someone does record the gig - just finished listening to No Pain, No Gain for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Enjoy all

Cracking night

It's just a shame Hooky and Pottsy don't do this sort of thing more often. Bewildering to think it's been seven years since the last Scala gig in London in 2000!

'Short but sweet' was the best way to describe yesterday evening; not only the two signature Monaco singles but also a couple of classic NO tracks not played live for the best part of two decades and an Unknown Pleasures track to boot.

Pottsy deserves a special mention for his solid solo set at the start of the evening, For Your Love has always been a fantastic pop song :thumb: The album hasn't been out of my car over the past few weeks and it's definitely worth a listen.

My photies of the gig can be found here, more to be added. ![](http://www.neworderonline.com/Photos/Cache/11152.2923.large.JPG)

yer not wrong ally, had two kids in that time, so i have been busy:thumb: HUGE thank you to all for a splendid night. was a classic. was great to play our stuff again as well as a couple of no/jd classics, just wish we had had more time to rehearse more tracks, as for the future, no one said yes and no one said no, we (pottsy) have a new single coming out soon, so we will be busy doing some gigs and promo for that, but it was great to be onstage with hooky again after all these years. so, we'll see...... love to all kehoe xxxxx

Well done our Jack!

Talk about in at the fuckin deep end. You look well scared in that pic on the front page, can't blame you, my first gig was in a hotel in front of 250 people and I was shitting it, and I didn;t have a bassGod dad and his mooing diciples to contend with.

Kudos to you mate :thumb:

Now....who's got the audio, so we can all see if you can actually play that plank

i actually don't think i do! :confused2:

to be honest i wasn't that nervous or scared or whatever once i was actually on there

the worst bit was just the hour and a bit of just waiting, doing nothing

i know i just stood still and didnt really move but thats only because i was just interested in playing bass well and not trying to show off or anything

maybe you just look freaked the whole time :D

True though, it's the lead-up that winds you up. The minute you start makin rumbling noises you're fine....and as soon as you look out front and see folks enjoying it, yer off and running :D

Seen the youtube clips on DR....not half bad.

Jack, enjoyed The Light playing Closer in Washington D.C. in September, but still no Ceremony. Were we that bad a crowd?
