Hadn't played the 12" in years, but seeing as how I just got my turntable back, it was due time to give it a test.
Bits I like best are the guitars and vocals. Lyrics aren't bad either.
Worst bits have already been mentioned: the cover and the b-side title.
Liked it a lot at the time of release, but don't think it's aged particularly well. Obviously there's a reason I hadn't played it in quite a while.

i happen to love the sleeve to Shellshock. It's hanging right next to BLT behind my turntables. Run-out groove is "So HiP It Hurts" right? Same as Liv's signature.

- are you kidding? it's crap. i haven't heard the 12" but it's all the same isn't it? same lame-ass melody and lyrics with ultra dated synths 2)takes up space on any best of compilation or cd 3)see #1 4)10% 5)better time management (seeing that i'm supposed to be writing an english essay than posting on this board with all you fine people ;))

- The terrible editing on the 7" - "HOLD ON!..." CLONK!! ...."It's never enough!!...."
- Like I said, it's badly edited, the record sleeves are shite, John Robie is the worst ever remixer/producer New Order have ever had, the 12" goes on and on forever...and the ticking sequencer and overall instrumentation (those fucking Fairlight stabs) render it extremely dated even by late 80s standards. And to think I actually liked this track for the first couple of years since I first heard it. Not so now, unfortunately. NO have done far better things.....
