Interesting piece by Danny Taylor in t'Guardian today about this being the result of a row between Tevez's agent and Garry 'Calamity' Cook.
And a rare moment of clarity from Noel Gallagher too.
This comment from Rubio82 (who, in turn, nicked it from Football365) has me in hysterics! ![]()
"A Brief History Of Carlos Tevez The boy's got form...
Boca Juniors (2001-2004) Tevez forces his way out of the club claiming that the press intrusion in Argentina is too much for him and his family and the club aren't doing enough to support him. Public bust-up with manager also ensues.
Claims he loves the club and supporters, and always will.
Time at club: Two-and-a-half seasons.
Corinthians (2005-2006) Tevez forces his way out of the club, going on strike, after arguments - some physical - with teammates, the head coach and the club president.
Claims he loves the club and supporters, and always will.
Time at club: One season.
West Ham (2006-2007) Tevez almost immediately falls out with the manager and players. Storms off and threatens to go on strike after being substituted. Goes AWOL to Argentina at one point.
Claims he loves the club and supporters, and always will.
Time at club: One season.
Manchester United (2007-2009) Tevez complains of being fatigued and overplayed in his first season. In his second, he complains of being underplayed - drama queening it every time he's taken off - managing just five goals, despite playing more minutes than the league's third top scorer Fernando Torres. Parting shot of "I'll scream in Ferguson's face when I score against them".
Claims he loves the club and supporters, and always will.
Time at club: Two seasons.
Manchester City (2009-????) Tevez is tired, homesick, wants to retire, takes time off to see his daughter and is caught on camera spending that time allegedly banging his mistress (the actually banging remains unphotographed), feels there's too much greed in football despite being the highest-paid player in Britain, hates football in general yet throws a wobbly every time he's taken off, wants his old life back, hates the club executives, claims that he would like to punch his young teammates and finally hands in a transfer request.
Claims he loves the club and supporters, and always will.
Time at club: One-and-a-half seasons so far, some of it begrudgingly.
Sums it all up really......"
Brilliant!

Anyone clock Mike Buzzer Summerbee on sky attempting to summarise the united city game, what a grumpy git, blew any chance of stepping into Andy Grays shoes , now ive only seen that goal 353 times and must admit im not sure , but as Buzzer pointed out Pele could do it standing on his HEad, so yes mike your hired as twat of the year, back to you in the studio Pablo.
Never saw it cos I was at the game and haven't got Sky anyway. From what I can gather Buzzer jumped the gun in complaining when he did and by all accounts made a bit of a tit of himself in the process. Whatever he said was probably justified, however, in light of the acres of bullshit that have subsequently been spouted over what was in fact just an ambitious rescue job on a pretty poor ball in.
Cracking goal, granted, but look how the plastic wankers are now bleating that he's the saviour of football when in fact Rooney had a shit game. Anyone who bothered to watch the match in full would be able to tell you that the real man of the match was probably Ryan Giggs, who probably just got the upper hand in an excellent exchange with Micah Richards; himself in the form of his career right now.
Any number of players from both sides could be said to have had an infinitely better game than St Wayne; Kompany excelled, Silva had a great game on the wing but cannot finish, Dzeko looks exciting and just about every United player had more impact on the match than Wayne. The sight of Berbatov warming made a bigger difference to City's players and certainly would have made Manchini think hard about his substitutions - delaying bringing on Wright-Phillips until after he saw what changes Ferguson was making.
All this adulation is nothing to get excited about, perhaps, but it will be fucking depressing when the same goal is replayed over and over again when the England team selection is next being discussed, particularly if the manager chooses not to select Christ the Scissor-kicking Redeemer on the grounds that he's fucking fat, shit and can't leave the fags and grannies alone. But as long as he remains the only footballer who most pretend-fans of the game can name, and as long as the telly keep rattling on about that fucking goal, he'll be untouchable and we'll get kicked out in the 1st round. Again.
Fuck Wayne Rooney and fuck his stupid fat face. And Paul Scholes is a dirty little fanny who should have been in the bath an hour before everyone else.
well i dont know how many years it is since city won something, but the cup semi final draw against united puts the pressure on them to keep the run going.
we fucked there treble up,
we fucked there treble up
With Joleon Lescott back in the goals, the future looks good for City.
Lescott scored ten goals when Everton finished fifth three seasons ago - more than any Toffeeman managed this season!

Saw him play for stoke v city, fans roared him on.

What have Man United got in common with colonel Gadaffi? They both got murdered by the locals.

And both did not need Tevez ![]()
