It's from the uber-religous TBN and features champion ham Michael York (who needs to fire his agent). I can safely say this is the worst goddam movie I have ever, *ever* seen, and I've only seen the last few minutes of it. Awful, pure and simple

Can't wait for the sequel :evil4:

my friend got dragged to the sequel when it was showing at the discount theater here, he highly reccomended it :thumb::laugh:

Things I learned from The Omega Code movies (possible spoilers):

  1. Peace in the Middle East is the work of Satan.

  2. World peace in general threatens national sovereignty, and is the product of Satan.

  3. Somehow it is possible to make a sequel to a movie that ends with the apocalypse/rapture. Starring the same main character.

  4. If the world was divided up into 10 zones that each had equal votes in determining policies, for some reason only a world chancellor would have any power whatsoever.

  5. When Satan threatens to take over the world, it will be the USA that stands alone in trying to thwart him.

  6. If you're educated in Italy, you turn British sometime around your 21st birthday.

  7. Africans are the first to go.

  8. Talking to a woman twice in 20 years, for about 5 minutes each time, can ensure lasting love and concern.

  9. Calling yourself the new Julius Caesar, and killing everyone that gets in your way, draws no bad publicity to you whatsoever.

  10. Killing thousands of people with magical lighning bolts doesn't get on TV. Natural disasters do.

  11. Americans with British accents can head the EU.

  12. Screw impeachments, the FBI can arrest the President. For things he might have done decades before.

  13. The Bible, if put in 3D, gives you power to dominate the world, because it can allow you to predict events AFTER they happen.

  14. Ancient Hebrew translates into characters like "..." and contractions.

  15. Scare tactic movies that have no mention of Jesus, and little mention of God, are the best way to sell your case for Christianity.

Not that bad in my opinion. On of the first "cyberspace"-movies I've ever seen in a movie theatre. I hadn't seen that kind of computeranimation before... (You can't compare it to today's movies, sure - but I've always seen it as a kind of milestone...)

As far as #3 in a series, though, it can't be as bad as Godfather 3!! :lame:
