It's a song by Jack Black's band Tenacious D. The lyrics mention something about Jack and his bandmate meeting some demon on the road who was gonna eat their souls if they didn't play "the best song in the world", and sound as if they were made up as they went along. Of course, they do play the best song in the world, saving themselves. The music starts out kinda folky, then turns into a near-Led Zep style stomp. I hear it all of the time on the alternative stations around here. Worth a listen if only to hear Jack present us with his idea of a demon's voice.
