"Special" & "Avalanche" are very touching, I find myself crying everytime I heard these two songs...

I really disagree about all the posts saying shell shock is one of their worst, that's just incorrect because shell shock is great. Now don't call me on the phone and leave me all alone please.

Movement is brilliant, nobody diss that. You can't touch it. Nothing is wrong with State Of The Nation either. The weakest song would have to be Run Wild, Liar or Every Little Counts.

Can't say I often listen through The Village or Ultraviolence that often either.

The rest is pure class.

OH!! And Lonesome Tonight bores me to f*cking tears, I think maybe that's my least favorite actually. No wait, second worst only to Run Wild.

Not everything they do is great but I find merit in the vast majority of their tracks. Off the top of my head, here's a few that I really don't like:

ICB The Him Cries & Whispers Everyone Everywhere Rock the Shack

Mixwise, Bizarre Love Triangle (the Armand Van Helden Mix) isn't my cup of tea.

I also enjoy Lonesome Tonight, but perhaps it's because I am lonesome tonight.

I'm a big fan of ICB, The Him and Cries & Whispers, actually. What don't you like about them?

ICB has some of Bernard's weakest lyrics ever (I believe he was largely responsible) and the syndrum hits (which give the song it's name, not Ian) sound at odds with the serious tone of the song. The Him makes ICB sound upbeat. It swirls aimlessly to a false ending that should have been the real ending. Cries and Whispers loses points for the bass and vocal lines sharing the same goofy melody. I do like it more than the two Movement tracks, however.
