Yeah pretty good mate
.Good you've incorporated that Martin Roth mix which is my favourite clip so far
I bought the 3 track download, of the three mixes the Martin Roth mix is best imho, although it's the "Dub" and not the mix with Bernards vocals which is better,.
Does anyone have the Martin Roth "vocal" Remix they could share? Pretty please :)
Has anybody got this mix they'd be willing to share with me?

Nice pic of a Mobil garage in that one then...![]()
Been a NO fan since 1991 and a Blank & Jones fan since 2002. I see a lot of people hating on Blank & Jones and they probably haven't heard 5% of their material. They are more than trance. If Blank & Jones weren't respected in the scene they wouldn't have put out 23 singles and I doubt they would have secured Barney's voice for their newest single.
Thank GOD for some news about an electronic-oriented project instead of all the geezer rock bullshit I've had to hear about forever and a day.
This new B&J single will do very well and I'm sure the album will rule!

they sound really cool if you play them all at once
Progressive mix is ace too
Specially at 5am looking at weird lovely cloud formations over the 24 hour garage.

I like 1 and 3. Reminds me of Here to Stay mixes and of Republic (Spooky) and Technique (Fine Time) and Get Ready (Someone like you) and Raise the Pressure (Freefall).
Not a bad song.... it seems like a different Bernard though... sings in a way I'm not used to.
But then again, since I'm french, I didn't pay attention to the lyrics :lol
Time to find our how to get a promo, I will email Mr Blank himself ;)

That would actually sound amazing...!!!!!!!!
Wow, I wonder what Blank & Jones would say about it ![]()

It's a miracle, mr Sumner is cured of his bitterness and frustration!
Or he is just a fan of the Cure.

I listened to the radio mix clip on myspace...
I like it! Nice tune.
Bernards voice sounds great..deeper than usual..he is almost crooning! Perhaps he has been listening to some Sinatra lately?
Sounds like Barney put some guitar down as well.

i went thru this thread and never found a link to the full radio mix anywhere...... (just to the remixes)
can you repost the link? maybe i am just really stoned, but i can't find one either....
I've now heard the whole 'radio mix' and it does get better. Not by much though.
I played it to my brother (long time JD fan) and he said he thought it was shit.
Played him Jed's version with the Hooky-style bass and he said it made it a hell of alot better, but the single was still shit.
My brother and I rarely agree, but on this occasion...
Jed - any chance of playing bass over the whole thing and bringing it up in the mix if I send you an MP3 of the 'Radio Mix'.
The only part of the whole sodding thing that sticks in my mind is your bassline...

I didn't really think his voice sounded deeper than most of his other songs
.....at least not as deep as Blue Monday and a few other songs.

Well there's a news flash...... shocker... long term JD fan hates dance orientated track.
I haven't heard the full radio mix either and believe me, I've been looking! I just figured I'd have to wait until the end of May. :(
The Danish DJ Kjeld Tolstrup played the Wundermittel Remix on his weekly programme on Danish National Radio a few weeks ago and again tonight. I think it's quite good actually! Very New Order!!!

neat-o! thanks Kim!!
That is a great remix... better than the single version. Thanks ![]()
The Dj sounds like he might be saying "Paul is Dead" or some satanic offering if played backwards![]()

I think that some of them aren't real bands, but just random words that seem to fill his head on a daily basis! :p
I mean, Notwist! Come on, apart from AJ, who else on this board has even heard of them, let alone heard what they sound like??? So, why on earth would Barney have ever heard of them???
notwist are quite good actually hence my avatar. Good mix of electronics and guitar like some other band i know.
I really liked Neon Golden. Irony is I only bought it 'cos a review somewhere said one of their tracks was New Order-esque. It's not exactly high energy though is it? Like Sigur Ros stuff it can get a bit soporific in large doses (OK, not quite as much as Sigur Ros).

Finally, a remix that features more of Bernard's voice!
This is probably my favourite remix so far.
