have anyone figure out the lyrics yet? this is what i got so far but could be wrong:

it was early morning and i didn´t feel great but the sun was shining at a quarter to eight so i gather very slowly and there by the door stood an angel, holy i fell to the floor

am i right is she near me tell me what it takes to hear me I can´t cry anymore you´re my miracle cure

and then one ? later i started to shave but in the mirror met a stranger who i did not know and he asked me to go with him away from the light but ? couldn´t give in so i started to fight

am i right is she near me tell me what it takes to hear me I can´t cry anymore you´re my miracle cure

(i couldn´t understand the "vocoder" part)

am i right is she near me tell me what it takes to hear my story I don´t cry anymore cause it´s you that i adore I say don´t cry anymore cause it´s you that holds the cure

Here's what I gathered he was singing based on the remix from the Danish radio:

It was early morning And I didn't feel great But the sun was shining At a quarter to eight So I got up very slowly And there by the door Stood an angel, holy, I fell to the floor

(*)Am I right? Is she near me? Tell me what it takes to hear me I can't cry anymore You're my miracle cure

And then one day later I started to shave But in the mirror met a stranger Who I did not know And he asked me to go with him I wait from the line But I knew I couldn't give in So I started to fight

Repeat chorus (*) twice

What can I do? Where I can I hide? Who can I back? Who's gonna lie? Who can I trust? Who's gonna try? Who's gonna stay with me tonight? Who's gonna stay in by my side and when I'm feeling paranoid? Who's gonna fill this empty void?

Am I right? Is she near me? Tell me what it takes to hear my story Don't cry anymore cause it's you that I adore I said don't cry anymore cause it's you that holds the cure

His voice is sounding deeper nowadays, still good though.

So this is yet another song about giving in to the self punishment of masturbation...?

Wundermittel Remix (From Danish National Radio)

I think the vocal melody is quite good, especially when Bernard goes deep. I just realized how much I like Benard's voice. Oh I wish that the music was done by New Order.

Yeah, would have been interesting.

I must admit all these mixes are getting played a lot these days. Great tune, great voice, never mind the lyrics :) It'd be interesting to hear the radio edit though, anyone found it yet???

I am very surprised that this song has not leaked on line fully, they did a good job protecting this song, even the dj's who remxed this song haven't leaked or uploaded it on the internet, usually a song like this is already on line to listen to.

Serious threats of prosecution if the radio edit was leaked may have had something to do with it...

Promo MP3s are password/code protected too.

with only three weeks away from the release of the album and single, I can't find no American website that sells this. Amazon, HMV, or any other webbsite does not have it listed.

Amazon

I do not see the single anywhere, just the LP.

Just bought a German copy on ebay, only 7 pounds so not extortionate. Still 3 copies available at time of posting.

Considering B&L have what seems like their entire catalogue on iTunes, I'd say it's probable that you'll at least be able to grab a digital copy.

Not the same, I know...

Damn, the song is starting to grow on me now, though I do think that the bits where Barney sings 'doo-doo' are still erm... well... 'Doo-doo'

At my advanced age I'm not into Techno or Trance. Some of the 'Miracle Cure' mixes sound awfully cold and depressing to me. That said, the basic Radio Mix is OK for me, as may be some of the others on the yet-to-be released CD single. Still waiting for it to be listed on Amazon UK, though... Amazon Germany charges twice the price of the CD for shipping it to where I live.

Brilliant!.. Might be a record. 1st post in six years. Keep it up. :thumb:

Gave this a spin in the car on the way home from work tonight.

Didn't really enjoy it. Wound the window up and put the a/c on - out of embarrasment when someone glanced my way hearing the thump thump thump beat.

Reminded me of the weaker parts of "Rest of New Order" - or maybe I'm just getting old! Switched the CD off and chilled with a nice bit of Classic FM instead.

Thank you for your "intelligent" contribution to this thread. That's school bully behaviour - "he's different, let's pick on him." Delete it and scram - nobody likes bullies.

Bollocks it is. Just a fact. We love record breakers. Six years to first post may be record. And I don't think it suggests in anyway you are different, except you remembered your password.

You seem to have some incredibly large chip on your shoulder, young man. Therapy is easily available in most countries.

I could try MUCH HARDER to be, if he wants me too. I think after the other thread it might be time to eat some humble pie, or go quiet for a bit. Preferably, not for another six years though.

NOT a good introduction to the place though, by any stretch of the imagination.
