their myspace seems to cut each song off half way through. Which is fine as i've usually heard enough by then. Is the a cd release with the songs like that?

I have to say that I really like This is Home, Jake's voice sounds great on the verses, and Barney is awesome on the choruses. The bassline is remiscent of the Cure, which is cool because I like the Cure. I really like the synth washes at the end.
Walk on Silver Water is simply one of the most beautiful and emotional songs Bernard has ever written. Really seems like he is writing and singing from the heart on this song, its actually moving. Its also a really synth heavy song (great big string synth build up in the middle and lots of piano). It sort of reminds me of a mutuation of a Morrissey and a New Order song. Why isn't this song on the actual record???

Well, it is, arguably. B-sides as such don't really exist anymore. And they're not releasing an EP like Freebass are. The 12-, 14-, maybe even the 15-track versions of the album are probably just as definitive as the 10-track. I suppose they wanted to keep something in reserve when they circulated the 10-song version to journos to at least delay the bootlegging of all of their material.

FWIW the download is 12 tracks, including Walk on Silver Water and These Changes.
There's a (very good and positive) review of the album on the most important Italian music site which leaves Running Out Of Luck off the trakclist. Hope it's a mistake because it's my favourite track. http://www.rockol.it/recensione-4040/Bad-Lieutenant-NEVER-CRY-ANOTHER-TEAR This album sounds like Twisted Tenderness 10 years later, I liked TT and I like this, lots of nice guitars and good tunes. I'd have liked the original Jimi Goodwin to sing though, Jake is too soundalike. Summer Days is a tad too Marr-ish but I can't help enjoying it. Poisonous Intent is maybe the most New Order-ish. Only truly crap track is Head Into Tomorrow.
