Sorry a bit late,but it was a fantastic night.Not had so much fun since NO at Blackpool.Great meet up at RAIN BAR,after 20 minutes of the taxi driver tryig to enrol me into the BNP.
Banshee!,Jemmie,Sandra & Mr Leggy,Kath & Jess,Biggy,Rocket,Julie & Rosie,Geno,Hibster,Mr Collinge,PHD,Alex,Minxie,Andrew Sayer,Janette and Andrew Sayer...great meeting up with you.
As always the meet up is another highlight.Special mention to Natalie T & hubby from California (lovely couple) and Norbert & Ute,the German Order! Norbert you were a star,Ute sorry I didn't get to speak to you much.It all went pear=shaped between RITZ and Odder Bar.
Had a bit of a boogie with Jemmie to a German oompah band.Seeing Sandra on trombone a highlight. Got it on vid,so watch this space... Oh and Norbert was in his element,
Lost Banshee at one point,he disappeared down the canal,adament that I'd been down there night of NO at Apollo (I might have been desperate for taxi money that night,but enough of that)
BAD LIEUTENANT were absolutely excellent.I must admit the album has grown on me,but live was an instant hit.Not quite sure of my favourite song BLT done acoustic,but I sweated like a bastard in the mosh-pit to CRYSTAL,TEMPTATION/OUT OF CONTROL,LWTUA (sack the Woooo's though),TIGHTEN UP. Really love SINK OR SWIM ,SUMMER DAYS and TWIST OF FATE.Out of the blue,looked at sde of me ...GREG!!
Collared by two blokes in lobby,one who I;m sure said he was Tim Burgess' dad!
Bought my favourite T-shirt yet for only a tenner.
Then onto ODDER BAR which sort of divided us all up at end (sob). Got to meet PHIL,MANI and TIM BURGESS,I also saw ROGER LYONS but at the time didn't know who he was. End of night,me and GENO left having it large. Some guy started having a go at DJ TIN TIN,for tapping him on the shoulder " Touch me again you're fucking dead",he was escorted out,but he wanted to apologise to TIN TIN at door.
I would have loved to have gone to PARIS,but for the mini-Monty and erm...a gig of my own to perform.
But I'm am seriously going to get a PSB ticket,because they were amazing at APOLLO and BL supporting them has just swayed it for me.

MONTY !! - you've forgot,i told you that when we left rain bar,that at the back of rain bar it has a canel bridge to the ritz!!,thats why i was sat outside ritz smoking and waiting for you for 10 minutes because you went long way round,i certainly won the race to the ritz anyway

It was really nice seeing some familiar faces again, and meeting some new ones. Poor PHD, such a nice lad and such horrible taunts. Who turned that telly on!!

Mind I was shocked at the sight of their heels and dresses, made me feel right old with the jeans and boots 
Anyway, I thought Bad Lieutenant were absolutely brilliant, Barney being in a really good mood and only the one cock up if I remember rightly. Left the mosh after only 5 or 6 songs due to big Norb. It was getting too dangerous in there for little old me. Took a pee break during the acoustic BLT (which I think is rubbish) and cringed at the COME ONs but other than it was excellent.

It was an absolutely brilliant, beautiful, wonderful time. Manc is top and so are the Vikings!! That's all I can think of at the moment as my jet lag is winning right now....
Is Hooky actually ok with BL performing NO/JD songs? Cos technically, BL has 3/4 of NO (counting Phil) or 2/3 of JD. So does majority count?
Well, as he does NO/JD songs when he plays live with Section 25, etc, he'd be quite hypocritical if he did have a problem!

Crowd obviously picked up for the second half of the gig but I enjoyed the BL stuff regardless. Big, big fan of Out Of Control and it was great to hear that live finally. Well worth the crippling hangover overall.
Any good soul can upload the "Shine like the sun" vid on You Tube? I will love to see/hear this...

Having played NCAT to death for a few weeks, I loved hearing the songs live, and though BL played a stormer at The Ritz, so much so that I'd have been happy just to hear them play the whole CD and not bother with any NO/JD stuff. I guess they had to though, and that really got the crowd up. Good aftershow part to, if a bit too crowded in a small bar...did anyone else see that guy there wearing black shiny leggings and high heels like Cheryl Cole or someone??? Brave bloke!!

Yes, walked with him back through town when we left the aftershow. Nice guy....great legs too
