Really don't think he is playing Leigh on the 29th.

I think you'll find everyone already knows, young man.

Well judging by the fact that people seem to be confused about tickets for the opening night etc it would seem that not everybody does :\ohwell:

They're the sorta people who are genuinely confused about most things in life though. :thumb:

Eh?

Another piece that neglects to mention that the building operated very successfully as the Paradise Factory for several years. I had some belting times in there, none of which I remember very well.

There's a film about the building project on their Facebook page.

It's looking good and can only be a good thing for Manchester.

However, they don't half go on about all 'the history' within these walls when Factory was located here (for all of three years when the label was a bit shit), and turning an office building into a club etc.

Well, it WAS a club for around ten years as Paradise Factory.

Short memories.

I can't believe they've put back the opening so that Hooky can DJ in Leigh. Where is Leigh, anyway?

I have booked my flights from Weeze to Birmingham and the train from Birmingham to Manchester and return.

I've given Nic all the info - it should be up on the news section today.

Steve has very kindly agreed to cover the press call for NOOL as well as his own site neworderinfoweb

Good news is that the opening will not be invite only, tickets will be available. More info on that soon.

Friday 5th February:

Freebass tracks will get their live debut as well as "rare Joy Division and New Order tracks" along with some Monaco and Revenge.

This is not a Freebass gig - news on those to follow.

The group has been named "Peter Hook's The Light".

Performers will include Hooky, Mani, Howard Marks, Rowetta, Leadfoot, Gary and "other special guests"...

Saturday 6th February

I hope that is supposed to be sarcasm, as in Bernard Manning opening The Hacienda.
