They said they wanted to cancel the 1 date in October and do 3 in March instead

Just got back from the Enmore Sydney show.
Recorded the entire gig in HD, with the exception of the intro to Disorder (camera screwed up for a sec), and the ending of I Remember Nothing and the beginning of Warsaw (had to delete some stuff from the memory card).
Got the set list, then met Hooky round the back, got a photo, and got him to sign the ticket stub, set list, Unknown Pleasures sleeve and Closer sleeve.
What a fucking night!
Expect the videos up in the next few days. I'll have 'em in a playlist.
Gig was fucking amazing, especially Day Of The Lords.

i was at the enmore gig too. he made "love will tear us apart" seem like a special gift coz we were such an awesome crowd - but they were going to play it anyway.
either way it was a fucken awesome gig. hooky rocked, and pulled off a much better curtis than bernard ever could.

Definitely. I'll try to have all the tracks up as quickly as I can. Day Of The Lords, Insight and New Dawn Fades sounded so fooking awesome. You can tell he really has been practicing the vocals.

Was an amazing crowd. Mentioned it to Hooky round the back and he couldn't believe what a positive response he got. Quite similar to when Gary Numan was here last year. I asked if he'd return and he said most likely, based off the response of the gig.
I got all of his thanks to the crowd, etc, recorded too.

Bernard sounds "Gay"? Can you please explain exactly what this means?
Bernard sings JD songs the same as he would a New Order song. I've always liked that Bernard sang JD songs in his own distinctive style, as opposed to trying to imitate Ian.
As for Bernard Sumner sounding "gay", he has one of the most distinctive and recognizable singing voices in modern music....as did Ian Curtis.
I mean....I think Hooky sounds alright singing....but it's much more exciting to hear him play bass...the Bass is Hooky's voice.
I think it would be interesting if Hooky and the light did the JD songs as instrumentals and just let the crowd sing the vocal parts, Hooky tearing up his bass and the audience channeling Ian, singing the songs as a people sing hymns in church.
