since bernard took the reins of new order there have been zero bad or embarrassing songs. even cole porter, h ledbetter, , kern, jobim, lennon, dylan, morrison(van or jim), j mercer, hart, hammerstein, j rogers,r waters, barrett, mc cartney , foster or anyone you want to name over the past 150 years could possibly make such a claim. bad songs happen, but not with sumner. danny kirwan had the same intent , and is the only other exception. hook is in the running as great bassist and has ardent support services.

sumner is not near finished, he has many more projects with many fine musicians. the likelihood of hook needing something to perform may prompt bernard to work an extra hour or two ,just for hooky . and if peter ever plays jet stream lover , or anything from the aforementioned disks the crowd will wake up . lucky crowd.

Hope Hooky and Barney write songs together someday again like "Songs for Drella" for Rob and Tony as Reed and Cale did for Andy Warhol :D

define "great"...? Do you think Bernard will be active until his 80s like Tony Bennett?

Hooky with Ozzy? Hell, they needed a vocalist for Freebass, they should a gave Ozzy a call. Would have been a lot more interesting.

Bernard could front Queen, they need a singer/songwriter.

NO/Ozzy colab would be EPIC, an acid house reindition of LWTUA with him on vocals, or something equally insane, but there's wishful thinking.
