are you saying that he had his hand on his organ???
or am I missing something here?
Hmmm...
Well, as an American, I never really got into the Beatles, Queen, Pink Floyd, or Radiohead. I know a couple of songs from each band, but I have liked New Order since 1988...and there are other Manc bands that I like...The Jam, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Lamb, just to name a few. I think one of the reasons I couldn't ever get into Floyd was the fact that they are worshipped in America, and---being a struggling musician myself---got sick and tired of having to deal with other musicians who want nothing but a Pink Floyd sound from others. So just like other popular stuff at the time, I shut Floyd out. Also, a lot of other aspiring (and wannabe) musicians I knew at the time would just use Floyd and Led Zeppelin as music to get high to, which is just not my sort of thing.
Granted, there are a few Floyd tracks that I like, but let me be honest...I don't own any Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin. :D

Lets hope Mr Weller isn't reading this :)
Hey now! I didn't say I liked Zeppelin! I'm sorry, I just can't stand Zeppelin...Try to quote the whole sentence next time, eh? :)

i think what he means, m. domingo, is that the jam are from nowhere near manchester. they're from woking, surrey (at least paul is)--SOUTH of london, and they lived in the london area. siouxsie are from london, as well.
Huh! Well, blame the producers of '24 Hour Party People', because they threw in The Jam as being Mancs, and THAT'S where I got that from! :)
Well, regardless...I don't like Zeppelin, I do like The Jam, and I'm an even bigger NO/JD fan.
Hey Happy One! I'm not Canadian...I'm one state over! And what's wrong with Canadians, eh? (They run this awesome site, you know!) :)

one state over? never realized Canada was a state...or that California was to the west of Canada...damn, I have to go buy all new maps again....
nothing at all wrong with Canadians, and yes, I'm quite aware that Nic and Seb are, indeed, from the Great White North...
but I thought only Canadians ended sentences with EH....
or have I watched Strange Brew one time too many?
