Unless the difference lies in the levels of the mix (e.g., louder hi-hat, bass to the left, etc.), there is no diff between Collected and Retro.

And the True Faith 2001 Remixes is not an easy thing to buy either...

The 2x12" was (is?) quite common on eBay. I have a spare copy (I believe), if anyone's interested.

BTW: Is there any difference between the Philip Steir Club Mix and the Philip Steir Re-Order Mix of TF2k1? I don't have a TT here, so I can't check.

Erhm, yes?! :) Well, what I meant was that it hasn't been included in the discographies because people simply guessed that it existed. Until this day, I haven't hear or met anyone who can prove/convince me that the promo doesn't exist. So right now I have more reliable indicators that the promo exists than I have indicators pointing towards a non-existence.

So far, the strongest indicator for non-existence is the cut in the History Of Cuttings book, though the quote seem to refer to an official 7". That doesn't mean that there might not be a revoked promo somewhere.

He was such a font of back catalog info in days gone. Haven't seen him post on Ceremony for a while, wonder if he still has an active interest.

Err, ignore that. The black sleeve has the b-sides. That's where the four LP's comes from.

Yes they are damn hard to find but the cost is really ONLY what you are willing to pay.Have you a DAT player MURV.Novelty wise it would be fun to own but i want the ORIGINAL LITTLE LOUIE statue.

there are no extra tracks on the DAT well, they aren't listed anyway, haven't got a player so never been able to check!

bought it when it came out, was between £11 & £15 going to check it when i get home & see if those tracks are listed on there - update tomorrow

DAT quality is beautiful. If anyone has a player it would be worthwhile taking the bull by the horns and pouring a decent cup of tea whilst enjoying the Technical experience.

DAT (for those who aren't keen) is ordinarily used as a master, used to generate copies for mass consumption (a bit like copying the recipe for vegetable pasties, then replicating throughout The Bakers Oven chain of bakers). So, if you have the DAT, you may be listening to a brighter, more clearer Technique than is available on any other format, including cassette tape.

/TLV Minidisc is a fantastic format but so FEW NOOL's have this i have had to use CD-R to send out the goodies.The EDIT feature on MINIDISC is grest especially for naming the REMIXES and additional INFO.
