Anyone got useful tips to ease the pain though?
Well i once took 3 years OFF work. That did the trick!
Well, that's what I'd call a real mosh-pit-idea. ![]()

Well after 13 years watchin NO and taking the piss out of hubby jim (jamesthomas) I have finally given in and had to become a "sad get online" myself.
What a cracking mosh pit, have had to wear winter clothes to cover up extensive bruising but it was all worth it.
Glad Nuts was finally reunited with Rachel, and cheers to all the crowd who kept checking I was ok in the mosh pit. Us Yorkshire women are dead hard!!!
Lovely to meet everyone in the Audley and look forward to the next time. Cheers everyone. Best weekend for a very long time![]()
No but gave some twat a good slap after he put his jumper over my head and tried to choke me!! Other than that the best bit was some bloke who tried to lecture me on how pushing to the front wasn't good manners. No guessing my response.![]()

Some bits of the night are slowly coming back to me now.....somehow I managed to remember the entire setlist, but that was about it! Managed to fall asleep on the train home, waking up with literally seconds to spare. Also managed to chuck my newly purchased McDonalds onto the tracks at Victoria. Whose idea was it to buy my beer two at a time to save on queuing to be served? Cracking night, probably the best social I've ever had with the Order. Stakes now raised for Belgium on Thursday night!
My god, Nuts, that was a bit major, hope it was all worth it!!
I fell over in the underpass on the way to the gig and have elbow scab and hip bruises along with rib pain from the gig.
Can I just say the worse thing about mosh pits is the 'girly' girls that get right to the front, don't look interested and then moan that they are getting squashed - bloody hell!!
I think that is why people kept asking if i was ok. Not used to females being able to look after themselves, it seems we are a rare breed in the mosh pit. There were about 3 girls in the front row who looked as if they were going to cry. Why bother ?

Was it a yank? Welcome online Lucy, the conversion is now complete. Those years of indoctrination paid off.
john

We stood there laughing, hahahaha
Clayhead forgive me I just could not take any more.
Nice to see you all down there, looking forward to the next occasion. Can someone inform the pub of an invasion next time, might get a few more barstaff in ?
Taken by Hibster and edited by moi.
Nice pictures by the way Maya, I have borrowed the one with me and you and put it on my site with all the others.

Me and my sis got to the Audley at about 7.20 (after getting completely lost in those subways by Marble Arch on the way along
). The pub was absolutely heaving so I'm not sure who, from here, would have still been there at that point. Met a cool group of peeps at the Audley though, whom we also hung out with at the show itself (Mike, Henry, Di, Oliver, Chrissie, and others who's names are escaping me at the moment because I was, basically, hammered :)).
I'm glad to see everyone from here had a great time. I thought the gig was fantastic ![]()

Had only just been purchased when the fucking bag split! Hadn't got remotely close to eating it!

Mike, Henry, Di and Olly don't actually post here, but quite a few people will know 'em, Mike certainly. Assuming it's the same Mike and Henry they're in this pic -> http://www.thieveslikeus.co.uk/web-content/imagebin/hyde400/hydepark06.jpg <- to the right of the lad in the pink shirt. If not, then I can't believe there was another combination of Mike, Henry, Di and Olly there! What would the odds on that be!!!
Hello Maya! (Yes, she is REAL) It was a pleasure to meet you too. Who cares about Moby when one can go to MacDonalds with the one and only NOBabe! I think the girls in front at of you at the gig who left were fans of Moby and would by default not appreciate a loud and tuneful rendition of Regret... their loss! They seemed like nice girls though.
Thanks for putting up the pictures from the Audley. That was a good meet up. I really didn't expect everyone to be this friendly. It was good to talk to so many Noolers and NO fans in general. A big hello to everyone such as Darrell, Rocket Mick, Don, Shug, Johnny Giles, Al, all the Yorkshire people and Tim, who's really a top geezer. Thanks for the drink, btw. Sorry I forgot to buy you one. But reading your earlier post that was probably for the better ![]()
And yes the gig was good too. Really liked the new version of Blue Monday and Barney's once again wonderfully sarcastic attitude. Was wondering why he didn't look at the autocue so much, but that autocue failure explains it.
P.S Maya if you have scanned the pic of us two, can you email it to me? I'll send you my address.
Juha (the bloke who flew from Finland for this)
We're definitely talking about the same people chick. I still can't believe how packed the Audley was, I thought everyone would have been off to the Park by that time. Nice pub though :)
thought it was a brilliant gig, cracking atmosphere from start to end, listening to it now for the first time since i got back and keep getting goosebumps all the time!hope we get another tour out of the old gits i'll definately travel down again and not just stick to the north like i usually have ![]()
