the missus had to get out of bed and sign for them - as if she wasn't unhappy enough with that, she then saw the price!

Executive Order
Meet in The Masons, nearest tube Marble Arch, details on page 2 or 3 of this thread, i'll be there from lunch time ( but i'll only be around for a couple of hours as i've wrangled full corporate hostility from our friends at 02 )
and wetherspoons ffs, thats only fit for alkies & junkies
Nice blag ![]()
Not gonna go to this boozer, good 15 minute schlep down Park Lane to the entrance from there. Won't be around till 4 anyways.
Gonna go The Audley on South Audley Street as Wolfram suggested. Only 5 mins to the entrance on Hyde Park Corner, decent size boozer and plenty of spaces for sitting outside.
My TICKET has arrived at PLANET ROCKET,train ticket secured and place to stay in BARNES.Rocket Mick will be in LONDON soon.Bet you can't wait to see ME!![]()

I'm staying at the Ramada Hyde Park. It seemed like a good idea at the time (the name would suggest it's really close) but now i'm starting to wonder how near it really is because HP is so big
Also, does anyone know what time New Order are expected to play??? My train doesn't even get in to London until 3.30pm and I want to make sure I have time to get changed and go for a few drinks before the big event
Ramada is north west side of the park, practically above Kensington Gardens.
The gig is in the south east corner of the park
Didn't someone say they'll be on about 20.30 cos they have to finish by 22.30?
Cheers for this. Can't believe i've booked a hotel at the opposite end of of the park to where the gig is. I guess i'll have to get sensible shoes on
Hang on, i'm a geordie gal which means I don't own a sensible pair of shoes or a coat ;)

I'm keeping an eye on www.wirelessfestival.co.uk as they are threatening to put more info on about timings. Bands start at 1600, but there are quite a few to get through before the main attraction...
Ta for this, I'll keep an eye on this too :)
Mine were special delivery from a traditonal cheerful whistling postman! Big tickets i thought!
Any of you lahndan geezers know if i could reasonably expect to get a train home from Waterloo at 11.35? Seeing as i havent got a fackin clue how long it takes on the tube?
Anyone who has received their tickets order them through Lastminute.com ???? Ordered weeks & weeks ago & money has left my account, but can I fook get any info out of them, no confirmation of booking or owt. Automated replies with no phone contact numbers, "To offer a speedy service" !!!!! Not "If you don't receive within 5 days of the event then contact us"..... I will be going apeshit if I have't got with 5 days to go. As I try to calm down a little.................If any of you have ordered with these shites and have got the tickets, let me know ??

You could walk to Waterloo in 20mins from Hyde Park.
However, you might be going in the wrong direction if you want Sheffield?

my picture of them on the previous page not good enough for you then? ;)
Edd: thing is Waterloo serves the south and southwest of London, Surrey, Sussex and Hants. Exeter is as far as it goes southwestern-wise so, unless you're staying in that manor, Waterloo can't help you.
Are you seeking to get back to Sheffield that night? You'll need St. Pancras for the steel city.
If you are staying in an area served by Waterloo, you should be ok tube-wise to get to it as the last tube is something like half-past twelve or so.
I've just checked and the last Midland Mainline service from London St. Pancras goes at 22:25 (gets to Sheffield at 01:39) so there you have it. You weren't planning to make a late run to the naughty north were you after the gig?! :)

Gerry: I think so. Their on-stage time is still open for debate at the moment (feel free to keep an eye on it here, but if it goes like this...
On-stage at 8.00 p.m Average set time: ninety or so minutes Off-stage at 9.30 p.m approx.
There's two ways you can get back to Victoria after the gig:
Get on the Picadilly Line at Hyde Park Corner (bound to be well busy) and go two stops south to South Kensington.
Change and go east on either the Circle or District Lines two stops to Victoria.
The coach station is about ten minutes' walk from the tube.
Or....
Go one stop north to Green Park at HPC tube and change onto the Victoria Line. Take a Brixton train one stop south to Victoria. This might be quicker for you.
Hope this helps.
